In hindsight, I wouldn’t...

Alexis_M, Oct 2026

In hindsight, I wouldn’t pay $80+ for this skip-the-line experience. Our entry time was repeatedly pushed back, and we still had to wait in line once we were finally admitted. Between the delays and the time spent waiting, we likely could have entered just as quickly, if not faster, by purchasing a standard €20 ticket. The staff at the counter were very pleasant, but unfortunately, the convenience we paid a premium for simply wasn’t delivered. For our visit, the additional cost wasn’t justified.

Vatican Visit

Susan_W, Jul 2026

Was great we wondered around on our own and looked at sights interesting to us for as long as we liked. Ladies remember to have knees and shoulders covered if you want to visit the chapel it’s worth it.

Slightly Misleading

Sheila_A, Jul 2026

This isn't really a "skip the line" ticket. You skip the line of purchasing the ticket in person, but you have to still wait in the longest line ever to get inside. The time you choose for your ticket is also not necessarily the time you get to enter. Buyer beware! The actual ticket is 25 euro, so the difference you pay is for not waiting in the line to buy the actual ticket.

Skipping the line saved...

Theresa_C, Oct 2025

Skipping the line saved us a lot of time so we had more time to see the sights in Rome. Although the queue for our time slot seemed long, it moved very quickly.
