We had a wonderful time on the Bosphorus Yacht Cruise Experience. Everything from the booking process to the actual cruise was smooth and well organized. The yacht was very comfortable and gave us plenty of space to relax as a family. The views along the Bosphorus were breathtaking, and it was a great way to see both the European and Asian sides of Istanbul. The crew was professional and friendly, making sure we had drinks and snacks while pointing out key landmarks. My family and I really enjoyed the whole experience and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul.

The cruise was the perfect length, and the guide was excellent in narrating the journey up and down the strait, detailing all sites of interest. The snacks are less interesting, but not why we brought ones the excursion. The stop included a mosque tour which we enjoyed very much!

The boat was beautiful! The itinerary said another town with a stop at a famous yogurt place. They changed the town. The bus ride back to our hotel was terrible. We were on an old crappy bus that had no brakes. You could hear that terrible noise every time he stopped. And we were dropped off blocks from our hotel and we had to walk.

Great way to kick some jet lag with lovely views and a fresh sea breeze. The snacks and beverages on board were tasty and the sightseeing very interesting. Kids enjoyed getting ice cream cones on the Asian side.

The cruise was fine. Lovely boat. A group of about 30 people. Food was ‘eh’. But the experience leading up to the cruise was disappointing to say the least. Our cruise ship changed our port time at the last minute so we would miss our 2pm reservation. The tour group refused to refund our money. Ok. I understand the 24 hour rule - but it truly was out of our control. They offered to move us to the 6pm cruise for an up- charge (15 euros each). We chose to do it for our party of five for the experience. That was the mistake. We paid MORE and got less. No stop on the Asian side which was promised in the description. Certainly not the experience we expected for the money we paid. I respect the 24-hour refund rule. But when the reason is completely out of your control maybe you refund 50%? Not great customer service by a Turkish company whose culture prides themselves on their hospitality. We were disappointed with our introduction to Istanbul. We are thankful our tour the next day made up for it! All in all - I’d skip this cruise.

We would like to clarify the situation respectfully. Your original booking was for the 14:00 cruise, and unfortunately your party missed this departure due to a last-minute change in your cruise ship’s port timing. We completely understand that this change was outside your personal control. However, it was also outside the control of our company. As a tour operator, we operate shared cruises on a fixed schedule, reserve seats in advance, arrange the yacht, crew, guide, catering, and operational logistics according to confirmed bookings, and the cruise must depart on time for all other guests.
According to the cancellation and change policy, last-minute missed departures are non-refundable. In this case, the service was ready and operated as scheduled, and the missed departure was not caused by any mistake, delay, or failure on our side. For this reason, the tour operator did nothing wrong in this situation.
Even so, we did not want you to lose the experience completely. As a gesture of goodwill, we offered your party the opportunity to join the sunset cruise later the same day. The additional €15 per person was not a penalty or extra charge for the missed cruise; it was simply the price difference between the 14:00 cruise and the sunset cruise, which is normally sold at a higher rate. This was offered only to help you still enjoy the Bosphorus despite missing your original tour.
It is also important to mention that the sunset cruise is a different product with a different timing, route flow, and operational structure. The Asian-side stop applies to the specific cruise program originally booked, and once your reservation was moved to another cruise as a goodwill alternative, the program was subject to the details of that sunset departure. We understand this may have caused disappointment, but the change was made after the original cruise was missed and only as an optional alternative for your group.
We are sorry that this situation affected your first impression of Istanbul. Hospitality is very important to us, which is exactly why we tried to assist you instead of simply marking the booking as a missed departure under the policy. We believe we acted fairly and tried to provide the best possible solution under circumstances that were not caused by our operation.
We appreciate your comments and regret that you left disappointed, but we kindly disagree with the suggestion that this was poor customer service. The cruise was operated correctly, the original seats were reserved for you, and the later option was offered purely as a favor so that your party could still experience the Bosphorus.

This Bosphorus Yacht Cruise with an Asian side stopover was enjoyable, relaxing and informative. The weather was perfect and the yacht itself was extremely well-appointed. Both our guides were terrific. And being able to view the magnificence of Istanbul from the water is an exceptional experience. We were also lucky enough to see dolphins at play and visit a village mosque on the Asian side.

Customer service (coordinator) was over and above for us. No matter what problem we threw at then, they handled it. Very responsive and avcommodating. Easy to book with a hotel pickup and return, all done with no fuss. On board there were a variety of complimentary refreshments, including nuts, peaches, bread, tea, and coffee. There are other items available for purchase.
It’s a guided tour by speaker, which was great if you were near the speaker, but could be difficult to hear given the ambient noises in the Bosphorus.
There was one stop on the Asian side before the return trip, at a yogurt/ice cream store.

It was a beautiful, relaxed and paced out 2.5hrs cruise across the Bosphorus. The speed of the ride was just about enough to take pictures of the city shores of the Bosphorus but you need to be ready with the camera to be able to capture a good click because there are no stops for a leisure photography. The only stop is at Kanlica (asian side) for yoghurt. Serdaar's commentary was descriptive and informative - he made it fun by asking some trivias about some buildings as we passed them. Food and non alcoholic beverages were served at regular intervals so this keeps you engaged as well.
The only disappointment that I want to point out is: The iterinary mentions that we will cross The Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and The Topkapi Palace. But we did not! All these 3 was just mentioned and pointed out from a very far distance (infact as we were reaching the Kabatas pier - the first/last point where we get on board and offboard). The same view of these monuments was seen from the Galata Tower so this was nothing special or different. My primary reason to book this package was because it clearly mentioned that we will be crossing The Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and The Topkapi Palace. My suggestion would be to remove these off your itinerary to avoid misleading tourists. Only because of this, I give this a 4*.

Communication was good and we were given a time for the shuttle to pick us up. As soon as our bus bearded the boat we were off seeing the sites.
The way the tour goes if you sit on the left side of the boat you will have the best views although if you're sitting on the right you can also see or stand up to take some photos.
There's commentary along the way and you can ask questions. There's a small amount of food and drink served.
There's a stop at the half way point where you'll be taken to a yoghurt shop (if you choose) and buy some yoghurt for 190 Turkish Lira.
The crew are very friendly. When the journey ends they will drop you off at your hotel but with the traffic it can take a long time.
