Top Istanbul Hammams & Turkish Baths

A great experience for both my daughter & I. So relaxing after a long flight the day before. It is a beautiful facility with high ceilings, stone and wood. My attendant was Oznu and she was awesome. My daughter had Ayfer and she was equally happy. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so clean & relaxed.

Excellent service and great experience — this was a great way to begin my trip after an 11 hour flight from Hong Kong. Lovely facility and the treatment itself was top notch. The ladies are very nice and efficient and there was a snack at the end with some time to relax a bit. 100/10 recommend!

We were greeted and taken to the lovely spa facilities at the hotel. Given tea and a full explanation of our package and what to expect. The pool and sauna areas were lovely and clean and relaxing. The traditional hammam scrub and foam wash exhilarating and then a soothing massage. All in all a wonderful way to spend a couple of hours in Istanbul.

Easy to find, and good comms - confirmed in advance we could bring suitcases etc. We wanted to leave bags early and then return for booking but they were able to accommodate us earlier which was helpful as took longer than expected (about 3hrs total for hammam and 1hr massage). Treatment experience was great, therapists great.

On a whim, I decided to look for an evening activity, and I’m genuinely glad I found Istanbul Hodjapasha Rhythm of The Dance Show. It ended up being one of those travel surprises that stays with you long after it’s over. ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ The show is top notch and beautifully paced. It moves through folkloric dances from Anatolia, the Balkans, and the Caucasus, blended with oriental dance and modern choreography, and it never once drags. The structure keeps you engaged the entire time, and the costumes are incredible. The 360-degree projection effects add to the atmosphere without distracting from the performers. ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ Every dancer is impressive, but what really stands out is the passion behind it. You can feel that this isn’t just choreography they’re executing. It means something to them. Quite honestly, for the caliber of performance, I think they are undercharging. ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ Before the show, there’s also a small dance culture exhibition in the foyer, which is a nice touch and gives helpful context about what you’re about to see. ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ My only piece of advice is to make the booking process clearer: if you buy tickets online, you still need to pick up a physical ticket at the venue, and that’s when you’re assigned a seat. ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ One performer I have to call out specifically is the man who had a few solo performances, including one where he spun for nearly five minutes while using his clothing as a reflective prop. The way he married the music with his movements was beyond impressive, and I genuinely left that moment nearly speechless. ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ ⸻ I highly recommend this show. It’s moving, energetic, and memorable in the best way.

The Aga Hamam was an unforgettable experience for my husband and myself. The staff were very informative of what to do. We both felt comfortable. It is an amazing bath. The hot marble slabs to lay on feel so good! Everything was so relaxing and invigorating! If I lived here I would get one every month!!

Experience was just as described + more. A friend and I went with the 30 min massage option. I think maybe they won't quite ready for us so they let us use the pool/sauna/steam room area first. The resting area did feel a little rushed--I just started sipping my tea when I was taken to the massage; the resting area was also hot (I thought they were supposed to be cool--I was afraid I'd sweat again after my bath!). They could also fix a couple of small maintenance issues- ex toilet stall door that doesn't close. The staff was very nice. I would do this again if visiting Istanbul
