Our tour was absolutely fantastic and one of the highlights of our trip. We learned so much about the city’s rich history, culture, and the significance behind many of its architectural masterpieces. The itinerary was excellent — we visited the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace Museum, the Grand Bazaar, and the Spice Market, all while getting detailed historical context that really brought each place to life. Our guide, Tayfun, was exceptional. His knowledge, experience, and flexibility made the tour feel very personalized. He gave great recommendations throughout the day and allowed us to tailor the pace and timing to our interests. One example was the Hagia Sophia Mosque, which was under renovation during our visit. Based on Tayfun’s advice that much of the interior was obstructed, we chose to skip going inside and spend more time enjoying other sites — definitely the right call. This tour is perfect for anyone who wants an immersive overview of the city’s history, landmarks, and cultural evolution. Be prepared for a fair amount of walking, though it was completely manageable and worth it for everything we experienced. If you enjoy fascinating history, stunning architecture, vibrant markets, and don’t mind getting your steps in, this is absolutely the tour to book.

Sercan was an excellent tour guide. It is worth every Turkish lira to have a tour guide. He saved us so much time by skipping the line and walking us through the different sites to explain everything we saw. I cannot imagine doing this without him. My husband and I feel like we made a friend. Would definitely recommend.

Our guide, Omer, was fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable about the history of Turkey and the sites that we visited. He was friendly and informative. We were appreciative of him providing us with insights and understanding into Islam, explaining the calls to prayer, the layout of the Mosque, and the symbolism inside. His knowledge of the history of the region, going back hundreds, even thousands, of years was complete and excellent. His ability to navigate us into the easiest way to access various sites was greatly appreciated. Highly recommend this tour and our guide, Omer.

Its a smaller group experience. The commentary is entertaining and informative. The crew hand out blankets, tea and small snacks. Its a little bit more expensive than other tours but was worth it in my opinion. There is a short stop of around 35 minutes on the Asian side. Its a lovely way to see Istanbul and there are plenty of chances to speak with the crew abiut places to see and visit in Istanbul. I highly recommend the tour.

Turns out it was just me on the tour. It was a wonderful day. My guide tailored the tour since we had some time and I got to see a pottery demonstration and a rug knotting demonstration. I learned about the way the tiles for the Sultan’s palace were made and saw some amazing Turkish carpets. The Blue Mosque is so beautiful and the tour of the Grand Bazaar was great. I really enjoyed and highly recommend this tour.

Kenan was a fantastic guide, and we packed in a ton of siteseeing in a 10-hour day! He was knowledgeable about the city’s history, and we saw the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, the Hagia Sofia, the spice market, and more. We also had a wonderful lunch at a rooftop cafe. We highly recommend this tour, and please ask for Kenan. (Be aware that we walked about 15,000 steps, so might be too much for some.)

Overall great experience. My fiancé and I wanted to stay in Istanbul longer then TourIstanbul would stay in the city, so we booked to ensure a safe and secure ride. They were super easy to talk to, worked with us when we constantly changed our pick up time, and helped keep it low stress. And the car was comfortable and super clean. And the driver (it was so late I was half asleep and didn’t catch his name) was incredibly friendly and ensured a great experience!
