Yes! Yes! Yes! Thank you Sandy!
Beautiful trip to see multiple Lochs and castles with our driver and guide Sandy! The highlands proved to be a must see to understand the depth of the country. Sandy helped make the 10 hr trip delightful with stories about the places we passed with historic facts and tales. He raised our expectations as he asked if anyone had Scottish heritage. My husband’s ancestors were part of Clan MacNaughton. Sandy was delightful as he shared stories about clan activities near their land. Then how the MacNaughton interacted with Clan Campbell. We highly recommend this trip and felt lucky to have Sandy as our guide!

The boat tour on Loch...
The boat tour on Loch Lomond was lovely, we had good weather and it was informative. There was a quick extra stop to see some Highland Coos and the driver had brought a bag of vegetables so that was a great experience getting to feed one. The visit to Stirling Castle could have been longer, we arrived about a bit over an hour before they were closing so that was not really enough time.

Highly recommended tour AND TERRIFIC guide
You are on a bus most of the time. The scenery is magnificent! And Brian was a fabulous tour guide. A great day of beautiful stops. It was Brian’s deep knowledge, wonderful stories, and sense of humor that made this experience so enjoyable. Thank you, Brian. How he can drive a bus AND talk was a marvel.

Edinburgh is near centuries-old castles and abbeys, scenic lochs and valleys, and many more sites that make perfect Edinburgh day trips. Get out to the Highlands to experience windswept landscapes and moody skies, and see if you can find the Loch Ness monster. Take a visit to neighboring coastal fishing villages and hear all about their history. Try some scotch on tasting tours, and get involved in some Scottish storytelling, too. There are plenty of preplanned Edinburgh day trips to keep you entertained.
