Excellent Tour and Guide!

Our trip was wonderful! Guy was an outstanding guide! He was incredibly knowledgeable about history, wine and the region in general, and was very kind and patient with us. One of our group had a medical issue and needed a pharmacy, but didn’t speak French. Guy came in with her and translated for the pharmacist, which we felt went above and beyond. He was also a very skilled driver, navigating us through traffic from a student protest, and we felt very safe and comfortable. St. Emilion was a charming village and the winery/chateaux experience was very educational. We would highly recommend this tour and Guy in particular!

Great experience…wish it was longer!

We did the four hour tour from Bordeaux to Saint Emilian with Laetitia and enjoyed it immensely! Wine tasting was at Bellevue… Absolutely beautiful and delicious! Laetitia was very very knowledgeable about the area and wine. She even recommended great places to go to eat and/or drink when we got back to Bordeaux. We only wish we had more time in Saint Emilian, it was just beautiful!

Excellent introduction to wineries in the Bordeaux region

Lovely day out with friends. Our driver Antoine was friendly and knowledgeable. We explored the village of St Emillon, then had wine tours a 3 vineyards; Chateau Grangey - small, family run winery, Chateau Siran and my favourite Chateau Dauzac, before visiting Chateau Margaux for a photo stop. The lunch included was very tasty and catered for multiple food intolerances. Long day but highly recommend.

What an awesome tour with Sonia!!!! Wegl gave her a bit of a stress, arriving late, but she handled it so well. We met wonderful people from England, Germany and Dallas. Enjoyed the tour emensely, got a lot of info and tasted fab wine, especially from small family owned, organic Chateau le Chatelet. Met the owner, Virginie, and she was just wonderful, funny, informative and great conversationalist. The vine was outstanding, great that they ship to US at a very reasonable cost. Loved it. This was a lovely, full day. Our driver was very pleasant and gave us information as she drove without being tedious with details. We visited three wineries, ranging from a small family production on up to a large worldwide distributor. A simple picnic right beside the vines was so pleasant.

A Terrific Half-Day Tour

This was a very fun and informative tour. Our guide Mathis was a terrific host and he not only taught us a lot about the region of Bordeaux but also about wine making. We stopped at the beautiful Châteaux Bellevue and tasted 4 excellent wines. Afterward, we got to enjoy some free time in the center of Saint Emillion which is as charming as you could imagine. If you’d like get a taste of winemaking in Bordeaux without a huge time commitment, this is a great tour. Well worth the price.

We opted for a smaller tour size (there were 8 pax in our minibus) compared to larger coach sized groups. Very pleased we took the smaller more intimate option This allowed for much better conversation with our guide and wine estate hosts. Our guide was very knowledgeable and fluent in English, which was very useful. We had 2 kids with us and our guide was excellent in distracting them while the adults were in the vineyards or in the tasting room. Thank you, Gaspard! The visit to St Emillion was also fascinating, although very touristy, and a short visit during this busy time was more than adequate.

We just finished the Saint-Émilion wine tasting and tour hosted by Eloïse, and it was a fantastic experience. Eloïse was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and a joy to spend the day with. We brought our four-year-old daughter along, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that they had thoughtfully arranged for her to enjoy a grape juice tasting alongside the wine tasting. It was such a wonderful touch that made our entire family feel included. The guided walk through the beautiful town of Saint-Émilion was fascinating, filled with rich history, stunning architecture, and, of course, an appreciation for the region’s exceptional wines. Thank you, Eloïse, for sharing your passion and expertise. You made our visit to Saint-Émilion truly memorable, and this was one of the highlights of our time in Bordeaux. Francois was an incredible guide. He knew as much-if not more- than the guides at the vineyards we stopped at. The tour was exceptionally well planned, from the easy pickup in central Bordeaux to the thoughtfully chosen stops throughout the day. Francois was extremely knowledgeable, not only about the specific regions we visited, but about wine overall. From exploring vineyards south of Bordeaux to traveling east into Saint-Émilion—visiting both the town and two vineyards—every part of the experience felt intentional. The highlight was a wonderful stop at a second-generation, family-run vineyard (Systey) paired with a delicious picnic. It was truly a day well spent. Francois was also very accommodating, adjusting the schedule to move up a tasting at our request, which we greatly appreciated. He even gave amazing recommendations within the city of Bordeaux including a wine bar and a delicious duck restaurant that we visited. It was truly a wonderful day !
