Lovely Day Trip

Lovely day trip with our guide. Once on site, you’ll have free time to look around but not a lot so decide before hand what you’d like to focus on at Montserrat. There are many good options for snacks including a little farmers market and a very nice shop for buying cheeses, wine, etc. there is also a basic cafeteria style place to get food. No need to pack snacks. Wine tour and tapas was fun- you’ll sit at a big table with your group so there is a small window of opportunity to meet people. Go around the to the back to take a photo with the warthog sculpture.

Glad I Went

Alberto was a great guide as was our driver. This was a great way to see a little bit of everything but would have been worth it to see sagrada Familia alone. Fortunately, the tour was even more than that. This would be an easy tour for families with smaller children since the bus takes you everywhere you need to go and lets you walk around a bit too. Good tour for anyone, solo or group.

Yes, this is an alil-day tour, but you have 60-90 minutes of downtime on the bus between each site on the tour. Each of these destinations was entirely different from the others…what a beautiful day full of history and beauty. My mother and I really...

My mother and I really enjoyed this tour! However, it did feel a little rushed. We weren’t aware that Mass was being held at 11 AM, which limited our time inside the Basilica. We were able to see the Black Madonna and had hoped to return to explore the Basilica further, but after visiting the shops, we ran out of time. Despite that, Montserrat was absolutely beautiful, and I loved the experience overall!
