Standing in line
This was a good, short 1.5 hour trip for a good price! The departure point is immediately adjacent to the Norwegian tender location which worked out after finishing our walking tour and then easily and quickly booking this fast boat tour while sitting in the museum. There are several boats operated by this Atlantis company. Many lines qued up so standing and waiting outside Ok but not ideal. Our que started moving 10 minutes past the 1:30 pm departure time. I'm not sure why we didn't board on time or early since we were not waiting for anyone. We saw all the sights including Bengali caves. Low tide was at 4pm so we didn't have any problems getting into and through the various boating sights. Returnung back to the NCL tender was just over the fence adjacent to where the fast boats returned but it was a 10 minute walk to cirlcle around the fence to the passport contol building and then back to where we started on the other side of the fence. The last NCL tender was at 6pm so we did not have to stress about returning to the ship.

Rare Experience!
Incredible experience. We got to kayak to tiny caves that boats would never be able to enter. Our guide Poco was extremely patient and kind and informative. It was great to hear about the cliffs and caves and how they formed and what they will become in the future as the limestone wears away slowly. Our group of 8 departed at 8:30am early October. Weather was still cloudy and cool in the morning without too much direct sunlight. Definitely recommend wearing swim wear. Waters were choppier than I expected (a bunch of tour boats kept driving by, creating more waves) so I ended up feeling a bit seasick (maybe lay off of the delicious wine the night before kayaking...). It was definitely a workout but not unmanageable. We're two women in our late 30s, relatively fit. Poco gave each kayak the opportunity to get some great photos alone in every cave. Some shots came out better than others; there's only so much you can do with water and condensation and low light. We never felt rushed and were able to ask for additional photos if we wanted. I was hoping we would be able to get out of the kayaks at Benagil, but the government no longer allows people to roam freely. Did not take away from the experience at all though. Highly recommend!

Great value, 2.5 hours we...
Great value, 2.5 hours we were out on the boat and stopped at various points along the coast before reach the main cave. Then a fast dash of some 30 mins off the coast to where the dolphins were that evening. Marine Biologist onboard explained what we were expecting to see on route and more detail once we found them, around 10 surfacing as the sun went down. Boat was less than half full so that was a blessing, more room to move around. Great crew also to entertain us. Overall, highly recommend and great value for money.would go again with the same company.

Absolutely amazing experience – highly recommend!
We had the most amazing 3-hour catamaran cruise to the Benagil Cave in Portugal! The scenery was absolutely stunning, and seeing the caves and coastline from the water was a real highlight of our holiday. The boat was lovely, and the whole experience was so relaxing and enjoyable. Nunu, Tomas and Marcelo were absolutely fab! They were friendly, welcoming and made the whole trip even more enjoyable with their excellent service and great atmosphere. We also had time to stop for a swim, which was fantastic and made the trip even more special. Three hours was the perfect amount of time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, take plenty of photos and have a proper chance to relax out on the water. We did get really bad seasickness while we were out there so couldn’t enjoy the trip as much as we had hoped, but it’s still definitely one of the best things to do on the Algarve! It was such a brilliant experience from start to finish and definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Portugal. I would 100% recommend this cruise to anyone visiting the Algarve. Five stars all the way – an absolute must-do! ☀️🌊⛵
