Great 6 hour tour!!

This 6 hour shuttle tour was great, Victor, our driver/tour giude, was great! I feel that all of the stop times, with the exception of Haleiwa town, was appropriate. We started with a coffee farm which to me was a super smart first stop, as our tour started in the morning, so we were able to get coffee, which by the way was DELICIOUS, and grab some bags of coffee to take go. The second stop was the Dole Plantation, and Victor gave us some tips ahead of time which did come in handy (like start with getting tickets to the train ride and/or maze and start with those since they take some time, and then do your souvenir shopping and Dole whip tasting after. We had 2 hours here and it was perfect. Next stop was a short 15-20 mins at macadamia nut farm, which was perfect amount of time to do some free sampling of different flavored macadamia nuts, and then buy some if you wanted to. Then onto the last stop which was Haleiwa town. You are free to do whatever you like for 2 hours (we used the restroom, walked around some and ate. We highly suggest Konos for food!!)We did feel it was maybe a little too much time here. Other than that, it was fantastic, we highly recommend!! The tour bus was air conditioned and comfortable also.

What an amazing experience!!!

This experience was so amazing! Do not hesitate to book! Seward is amazingly beautiful in general but Kenai Fjords up close is a whole other level of beauty. The captain and staff from Major Marine really cared about making sure that everyone had an amazing experience. We saw many species of wildlife and pulled up pretty close to the beautiful cliffs and shoreline. The captain was in contact with other boats to find out just where we could see some of the wildlife, which was great. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, I ended up getting a little seasick even though I took motion sickness medication beforehand. This is not something unexpected, just a me issue but for anyone who does experience seasickness, just wanted to give a heads up to come prepared. Also, I would advise to dress warm and bring a knit hat and layer.

A great tour!

Pedro was a great tour guide who shared a lot of interesting facts & recommendations about the area. He was fun & professional. I enjoyed all the sites but particularly the grand finale which was a stunning sunset. It you have a free afternoon, this is a great way to spend it. It lasted about 4.5 hours.

Excellent Excursion!

Whale Tales is an excellent excursion experience! The crew is fantastic! Lexi the bus driver kept us entertained with her corny jokes. James the captain got us to the best location for seeing whales. Griffin and Monica, the naturalists, were very knowledgeable! Griffin is a true whale nerd and very fun! We saw a total of 5 whales! You definitely want to book this excursion!

Must do just book it it is so worth it.

Wonderful , a bucket list moment and unforgettable. Our Helicopter pilot was great , full of information and explanations . It is a must do. I was very afraid to ride in a helicopter but with the head phones on and the smoothness of the ride and the views it was a piece of cake.

There are plenty of...

There are plenty of stops, lots of restroom breaks, and a lot of food. It is a good way to see all that the island has to offer outside of Waikiki. Leonard's was my favorite along with the chicken. Do not misunderstand all the food was great. Tour Guide/Driver Will was outstanding, awesome, and very attentive. Two more things...we saw lots of sea turtles at the beach and a Monk Seal with her baby on shore (protective species). Amazing!

Great experience for a first time snorkeler.

The captain and her crew were very nice. Answered questions and visited with guests. They gave a brief overview of what to do when you got in the water, but if someone had additional questions, they answered those as well.The vessel and the equipment were clean. If we come back to the area, we will likely do this again. I also felt the price was fair.

Great start to our vacation

Our flight to Honolulu landed early. We had our bags and were outside with our 4 small tired children over an hour before we had scheduled our shuttle. I asked our driver Kira if there was any availability for him to come pick up is early. He had been tracking the flight and was already on his way! Extremely helpful and friendly. Could not have asked for anything to be better. Thank you Kira!!

Great time for all.

This was such a great time / experience. I came with my 8 year old and teenager. Both boys had a good time. We came late morning (11am) on a Friday. There were some school groups there but it was not crowded. We never had to wait in line or felt crowded. The staff is all very friendly and knowledgeable. On the interactive areas, my little one was timid and a little scared at first. The staff would pick up on it. They engaged him and made him feel comfortable. We will definitely be coming back.
