Can’t wait to come back
So much fun! The whole crew was friendly and accommodating. A guide picked us up outside of the cruise terminal and then dropped us back off at the end on time for all aboard! I’m usually pretty cautious about booking excursion not tied to the ship but nothing about this was sketchy at all

Allen was an amazing...
Allen was an amazing guide. Couldn't have asked for a better one. Our kids loved the sloths, monkeys and macaws...it was a highlight of the trip for some. I have to say, seeing the sloths up close was really neat. The beach it very typical for cruising...busy. It was nice that the hotel portion was roped off so the vendors didn't bother you at your chair but you could still interact with them if you wanted to buy something. The snorkeling portion was a nice reef. No fins are included in the snorkeling, which was a first for me to snorkel without fins.

Loved the sloths
We were scheduled to port earlier and we found out we wouldn’t be docking until 1pm. I texted Michelle, I believe that was her name, and she already knew about the delay and time change and eased my mind on them still being there to wait on us. Due to the delay, we decided (us as a family) to just do the sloth and monkey stop and not the beach and they were very accommodating with us. I will say they did give directions on finding our meeting spot when we got off the boat and you have to walk through many people try to sell their tours but the moment I asked for directions or said what tour we booked EVERYONE was so friendly and showed us the way to go one gentleman even helped is cross the busy street. You have to go out of the port area to meet but there was a man with a sign for MJ tours so we knew who to go with. The only part I didn’t love was we had to walk about 5 minutes to get to his parked van. The walk was hot and in a not great area. But again nothing they could help just parking availability. We were the only one in the van with Roger and he told us about Roatan and said we could ask any questions. It was about 15-20 minutes to the sanctuary and our guide was very nice and we LOVED the sloths! Once done, Roger was waiting for us took us right back to the port and stopped to take a picture at the Roatan sign. It was a great experience.

Best experience of our trip!
The monkeys were absolutely amazing and hilarious. Slots were cute, but unfortunately you couldn’t touch them. The private island was nice with a lot to do as well. Driver was super friendly and knowledgeable about the island. She let us plan some things on our own time, like when to leave the island and if there were any stops we wanted to make back to the cruise ship. Highly recommend!
