Can’t wait to come back
So much fun! The whole crew was friendly and accommodating. A guide picked us up outside of the cruise terminal and then dropped us back off at the end on time for all aboard! I’m usually pretty cautious about booking excursion not tied to the ship but nothing about this was sketchy at all

Allen was an amazing guide. Couldn't have asked for a better one. Our kids loved the sloths, monkeys and macaws...it was a highlight of the trip for some. I have to say, seeing the sloths up close was really neat. The beach it very typical for cruising...busy. It was nice that the hotel portion was roped off so the vendors didn't bother you at your chair but you could still interact with them if you wanted to buy something. The snorkeling portion was a nice reef. No fins are included in the snorkeling, which was a first for me to snorkel without fins.

Loved the sloths
We were scheduled to port earlier and we found out we wouldn’t be docking until 1pm. I texted Michelle, I believe that was her name, and she already knew about the delay and time change and eased my mind on them still being there to wait on us. Due to the delay, we decided (us as a family) to just do the sloth and monkey stop and not the beach and they were very accommodating with us. I will say they did give directions on finding our meeting spot when we got off the boat and you have to walk through many people try to sell their tours but the moment I asked for directions or said what tour we booked EVERYONE was so friendly and showed us the way to go one gentleman even helped is cross the busy street. You have to go out of the port area to meet but there was a man with a sign for MJ tours so we knew who to go with. The only part I didn’t love was we had to walk about 5 minutes to get to his parked van. The walk was hot and in a not great area. But again nothing they could help just parking availability. We were the only one in the van with Roger and he told us about Roatan and said we could ask any questions. It was about 15-20 minutes to the sanctuary and our guide was very nice and we LOVED the sloths! Once done, Roger was waiting for us took us right back to the port and stopped to take a picture at the Roatan sign. It was a great experience.

Best experience of our trip!
The monkeys were absolutely amazing and hilarious. Slots were cute, but unfortunately you couldn’t touch them. The private island was nice with a lot to do as well. Driver was super friendly and knowledgeable about the island. She let us plan some things on our own time, like when to leave the island and if there were any stops we wanted to make back to the cruise ship. Highly recommend!

Great day at the beach!
Simple walk out of the port to meet the driver. Ride was comfortable and scenic. Our guide Tonya was very kind and spoke clear English. The beach resort was beautiful, easy access to amenities and most importantly the beach and the crystal clear water. There are solicitors walking the beach, but even they seemed friendly while trying to sell their goods.

Great Guides Made This Our Favorite Port Day
We had such a great time on this excursion. Our guides were awesome and really took care of our group the whole time. There were 12 of us, with 10 being our family, and they made everything feel easy and comfortable.
They took us to the rum tasting, the sloths and monkeys, and then to the beach. While we were driving around, they shared cool facts about the town and answered any questions we had. They were super friendly and made it feel like we could ask them anything.
We also asked if we could stop somewhere to eat during the trip, and they had no problem making that happen. They were really attentive and made sure our group was good the entire time.
I’ll be honest, I was a little nervous at first about leaving the port, especially with my family, but I’m really glad we did. Everything felt safe and secure. If you’re thinking about doing this excursion, just do it. Out of all the excursions we did, this one ended up being our favorite.

Jenny was absolutely amazing! This tour is highly recommended!
We had Jenny for our tour guide and driver and she was absolutely wonderful! Thank you Jenny for all of your help and being so kind to me (Adeline) and my daughter Brooklyn. If there is a way to give her a tip since I didn’t have any cash please let me know. She most definitely deserves it. We went to see the monkeys and sloths first then headed to the beach for a bit then went scuba diving. Everything was absolutely wonderful.

Monkey, sloths, chocolate, rum, oh my
We had a great time going to the sloth and monkey sanctuary, rum factory and chocolate shop. David was extremely knowledgeable and got us around the island easily. He showed us a great local spot for lunch.
It was wonderful to get a glimpse into the local history and communities that make up the island. Highly recommended. Will book with them again.

Great ATV excursion —...
Great ATV excursion — thrilling ride from the ridge to the shore with absolutely stunning views the whole way. The trail offered a perfect mix of adventure and scenery, and the beach at the end was gorgeous and peaceful. At Manawakie Park we enjoyed delightful interactions with monkeys and a sloth — friendly, well cared-for animals that made the visit unforgettable. Andre was a great guide. The island itself was very clean and well cared for. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a fun, scenic outdoor experience.

Excellent guides and impressive reef!
I had an excellent time with Mario and José! Mario is super knowledgeable and passionate about snorkeling. José was an excellent captain & his boat was very comfortable. I had the tour to myself. I am a pretty experienced swimmer, and Mario catered to me very well. We must have seen over 100 species of fish, and I crossed many of my list that I hadn’t yet seen during the rest of my time in Roatán. This was on the 3 stop tour. The gear they offered was top notch. Definitely worth your while!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Unforgettable Roatan Adventure – Ask for Glavin!
This excursion was hands down one of the BEST days of our trip! Pro tip: get off the ship EARLY because the port gets super crowded. Thankfully, Glavin made it easy—he communicated exactly where to meet and was already there waiting for us (huge win!).
Our first stop was the animal park, and WOW—such a fun experience! We had monkeys and birds literally jumping onto our hands and on top of our heads! The sloth was adorable and such a highlight—slow, sweet, and surprisingly photogenic!
After about an hour at the animal park, came the Dune buggies—and YES, you will get muddy, so come prepared! It was an absolute blast driving the loop, splashing through puddles, and just letting loose. Definitely bring a change of clothes and a towel—you’ll need it!
We wrapped up the day at a beautiful private beach where we relaxed, soaked in the views, and enjoyed some peaceful time before heading back.
Glavin truly made the experience—he was an incredible driver, super fun, and shared tons of interesting facts about Roatan along the way. We felt safe, well taken care of, and never rushed. Plus, we got back to the ship with plenty of time to spare.
Highly recommend this excursion—such fun memories made! And seriously… ask for Glavin!

Such a great time! Super...
Such a great time! Super fun zip lines- got to try flips and inversions as we went down! My 4 year old did the whole thing tandem and loved it. Got to feed some cool animals and the monkeys were cute! Stopped at the chocolate factory for samples and brought some home too. Snorkeling was no frills but a lovely spot with beautiful reef and fish. Just what we wanted!
