Great family friendly hike

Francois and his son, Charles, were excellent guides. They were able to engage our kids by pointing out different things along the hiking path, including a recent wild turkey kill, skunk skull, garter snakes, northern red belly snake, bear markings, native plants, and the beaver dam. The goats were a hoot and the kids enjoyed walking them. Luna also kept us entertained. The lunch at the end was delicious, especially the goat cheese. We had a larger group and everyone was able to keep up as it was a nice, slow and easy hike, mostly in the shade of the forest. This experience was the highlight of our Quebec trip - would absolutely do it again.

Great Tour of Quebec City

To start with we missed our initial booking as there was an error on my part. The company was very kind to reschedule to the correct date (5 months later). Diane was fantastic and gave a very entertaining and informative tour. She had a great rapport with all. When we met back with the rest of our personal travel group who took a private 3 hour tour. I felt like we got the better deal. We saw much of the same and our guide pointed out local arts that the others did not see.

I love a good food tour and this is one of the best! Pierre was amazing…funny, charming, informative. All the qualities you look for in a great guide. Food was exceptional, more than enough for lunch. The walking part was doable for my husband with a recent hip replacement. Recommend this tour 100%.

Great way to see upper and lower historic Quebec

Really enjoyed our 2hr walking tour with Louise! She was very knowledgeable and shared historical facts, pointed out differing architecture and the significance and added a little humor along the way. She definitely gave us an appreciation for the long history of Quebec City and its cultural importance. The walk was leisurely, with frequent stops at buildings/churches. Quebec does have a lot of cobblestone streets/sidewalks and steps but the tour was mostly downhill.

Let me say this - you’re FOOLISH if you don’t do this with your spouse. Let me repeat again you would be FOOLISH. I couldn’t believe how well this tour turned out. 4 hours of country side and tastings. Massive shout out to “ Domaine Sainte-Famille 🍷” what a romantic afternoon under white trees, slight wind and we each got 4 decently filled glasses. Yes four for me and four for her. I’ll tell you what these Québécois know how to make drinks. Wow!

View of the Falls while sipping wine? Yes please!

We had such a good time driving around this sweet little island, sipping wine along the way. Each winery was quite different from the others in architecture, personality, other foods available for sale, as well as the types of wine. One of them had a beautiful terrace out back that had a great view of Montmorency Falls across the river. Simply beautiful! Luc, our guide, was fantastic. He was lots of fun, was informative and quite chatty.

The cycle path was relatively flat and well maintained. What really made the experience exceptional was our guide, Denise. We customized our tour and visited Basilica of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré. Oh my word - such a beautiful basilica - reminded me of European churches. Don't miss this gem when visiting. We have found hiring the private guide gives us flexibility to go at our pace and go places that the larger tours don't go. I highly recommend this tour.
