Awesome ride and staff!

We had a fantastic ride with our jet boat pilot Joe. One of our group got a bad dose of motion sickness and vertigo, Joe realised he was unwell and dropped him off with his wife, before rhe ride finished. The staff were very lovely offering help and support. The rest of the group loved the ride! So much fun!

Two top attractions on a day trip

Stephen was our guide and driver to and from Auckland. Great conversation on the way regarding all things Kiwi I had anticipated that the short time at Waitomo and the glow worm cave was a bit too short. Turns out it was plenty of time and a great experience. Lunch was included at the Hobbiton cafe before our tour. Nice selection of sandwiches and wraps. Hobbiton tours depart every 10 minutes and we queued up with our group at the designated time. The ranch where the movie set is located is stunning and it’s still a working sheep farm. The tour is guided and keeps moving. Not a lot of time to loiter, take in the views and take pictures. The ice cream stop on the way back to Auckland was a nice treat too! Overall I would recommend this tour and thank you Stephen for a great day!

Amazing Tour guide !

My daughter became said she felt sick, we decided to tell our tour guide we are going back. We waited for a group to come down the stairs and there was another tour guide just behind the group the behind by himself. I let him know “sorry we need to go back up the stairs cause my daughter is feeling sick” , he said the fastest way to go out was actually on the boat. He quickly took us on the boat to enter out the caves and we managed to catch the Glowworms at the same time and didn’t miss out ! Thank you soooo much I think he goes by the name “bubba” , anyways bro you are a life saver ! Much aroha to you and the crew !

Steamship/lunch/sheep dog adventure

Fun adventure on a 1912 steamship to Walter Peak. The boat ride across the lake was scenic, and educational if you take advantage of going below deck to see the inner working of the ship - very hot down there but worth it to see for a few minutes. The BBQ lunch was plentiful and excellent. You won’t leave hungry. The “farm” really started the sheep dog - who was excellent. We did not see a shearing demo, but was quite fun to see the sheep dog herd those sheep!

As beautiful as the pictures! It was a lovely walk through the movie set, we had an incredible guide who was extremely helpful and informative- she made the experience so much fun! We got there a bit early for our booking and were able to attend an earlier time with worked great for us! We had lots of photo opportunities and learnt so much about the set. There was a steep section of the track but the walk up was only about 5 minutes so it wasn't too difficult. Our guide was very patient and kept checking on all of us!

From start to finish, the entire process was completely seamless. Everything was so well organised and effortless, which meant we could just sit back and take it all in. The flight through the snow-covered glaciers was honestly one of the most incredible things we’ve ever experienced..the scenery was completely surreal. Towering mountains, endless glaciers and views that genuinely looked too beautiful to be real. And then arriving in Milford Sound and experiencing the cruise was something so incredibly special. The combination of flying through this spectacular landscape and then seeing Milford Sound from the water was just unforgettable. Without a doubt, one of the absolute highlights of our time in Queenstown. If you’re considering doing this, DO IT! Worth every cent and an experience we’ll be talking about for years to come. 🏔️❄️✈️🚢✨
