At your chosen time, hop aboard a complimentary shuttle bus in downtown Queenstown, New Zealand’s ‘adventure capital.’ After a short ride through New Zealand’s once-thriving gold country, arrive on the shores of the Shotover River to embark on your high-speed jet boat ride.
Hold on tight as the driver expertly navigates the jet boat over white-water rapids and squeezes through the narrow canyon walls of the Shotover. Pass sheer cliffs and rocky outcrops, then feel your adrenaline pumping as the boat makes trick maneuvers, twists, and turns. Once back on firm ground, relax on the shuttle transfer back to Queenstown. Souvenir photos are available to purchase.

The Jetboat experience was awesome. The locality is great with a mix of canyons, bridges and river flats. The driver takes the boat incredibly close to the canyon walls and it is thrilling. Highly recommend.

Must-do when in Queenstown. Did this first when I visited in February with my sisters, and enjoyed it so much, I had to take my now husband on the way to our wedding. Both of us were really nervous before the first time we both went, but the drivers are absolutely amazing (I think they said they train for 18mths before they take passengers). Ngāi Tahu tourism are an extremely professional operation, and their safety record is impeccable. They are the best for a Queenstown jet boat experience - don't skimp and go for a cheaper operator - Shotover Jet have the exclusive rights to the section of river that's best for this. So much fun - you really won't regret it (and like us, will probably want to go again as soon as you get off!)

I booked for the 4th and you changed it to the 2nd people going on the boat at 12 lunch time on the 2nd had not even arrived in the country I asked for a refund and did not get a reply I will never use you again Cheers Paul

This was such a fun activity and ran seamlessly from check-in at The Station in Queenstown to our return shuttle bus drop off. We felt safe at all times. The staff were all great and I really can't fault our experience. Highly recommend!

A must do while in Queenstown! My husband and I had the best time on this experience! A quick 10 min drive out of Queenstown, plenty of parking, and really easy to find. There is a lovely brewery/restaurant next to the river to grab a beer/bite before or after the jet boat ride. We didn't eat, but the beers were good! (The food did look good though.)
Shotover was running about 10 min behind for the day, so we didn't get on the river at our schedule time, but it was within 10 min. The weather was a perfect fall day, and the sun was out, but it was still a bit chilly on the river. You will get wet, so dress for the experience.
Josh, our boat captain, was awesome! He was fun, knowledgeable, and a very skilled driver. He constantly checked-in to make sure everyone was okay and having a good time. You can tell he loves what he does for a living.
The views down the river and through the canyons are stunning. The only downfall of the experience is that you can't take photos or videos while the boat is moving. You really have to take it all in and be present in the moment to get the full experience, which is good. The boat gets so close to the rocks and you feel the cold, fresh water on your face -- it is awesome.
I would recommend this experience to anyone who visits Queenstown and I would do it again myself.

A 25 minute ride that's worth the experience. Beautyful canyon scenery, thrilling, humerous, and exhilirating. The staff were very friendly, courteous, and welcoming. Ryan, our boat driver was awesome! He could handle the powerful engines and boat with ease. While in Queensland don't let this opportunity pass you by. This made our day.

Absolutely incredible. I was contemplating bailing out because I don’t do well on fast rides etc but this was exhilarating. My kids and hubby also loved it (kids aged 8, 11, 13).
Ryan was our driver. They stop at various points and give you a bit of background about the boat, land etc and let you take photos. Can’t fault it. Thanks guys!
