The trip started with a prompt, punctual pick up from our hotel at 9am. We headed straight to Batu Caves with lots of information about the city as we travelled. From Batu Caves, we went to the Mosque, then onto Central Market and finally the Chinese Temple. The drives were very comfortable and well air conditioned, something you very much appreciate after climbing the Batu Caves stairs! Vikram, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgable and very friendly. We mentioned we’re moving onto Melaka and then Singapore, of which he gave us lots of recommendations and information for too! Worth it!!

Honestly, our driver and guide, Mr. Aru, was the absolute highlight of our time in KL. I was traveling with my family —my wife, my elderly parents, and our young son—and Mr. Aru handled our pacing perfectly. He was so incredibly patient and made sure no one felt rushed. Something to keep in mind: besides the Petronas Twin Towers, the other sites on this itinerary are actually free to enter on your own. However, booking this tour was 100% worth every penny just to have Mr. Aru with us. His deep knowledge of Malaysian history and culture gave so much context to what we were looking at, which we never would have gotten on our own. Plus, he has a good sense of humour! He was keeping the energy up in the car all day. Five stars, highly recommend asking for him!

Wonderful Day

We had a fantastic day that started with the river tour. It was short but sweet, the location was beautiful and we saw a few monitor lizards so that was cool. Absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. Fauzi is everything you could want in a tour guide — personable, deeply knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making sure his guests have the best possible time. He provided rich, engaging insights at every stop, took us to a fantastic lunch, and even surprised my parents with coconut drinks that they absolutely loved. Small gestures like that go a long way. A great day day!

Our brilliant guide Nishan collected us right in time and gave us some I formation about KL on our way to Batu Caves. When we arrived he took photos of us and gave us plenty of time to climb the steps and see the temple. Then on to Genting Highlands. Nishant gave us lots of info and then we had lots of time again to enjoy our visit. The Batu Caves are worth doing, very interesting! And the steps aren’t so bad. Genting Highlands is a revelation- the cable car affords fab views even through mist. The Chinese Temple is a must. At the top we skipped the Casino and theme park, then came down and had food and did a little shopping. A great day out and good value. Thank you Nishant!

A great half day tour of some of the key hustoric sites and areas of KL. Siva was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable about all facets of this great city.
