This tour begins at the oldest church in Malacca, followed by a photo stop at the mosque, then a climb up to some ruins with a panoramic view, and walk back down to the red Square. While the lunch was tasty, the portion was not enough for six people at the table. I would suggest large larger portions the free time allows you to see Melaka at your own pace for at least two hours. Vino provided an excellent commentary and endured that everyone had the information needed to meet the bus after the free time. I recommend this Tour.

The tour was a bad experience, even in normal traffic it takes 3 hours to get to Malacca and usually more to get back, and when you get there there's little to see.
The churches were bare and uninteresting, the mosque looked nice but you see it only from a distance, there's little left of the old fort and in the main street you'll find just gift shop that are the same of any market in Kuala Lumpur.
The guide Nelson stayed with us only for the visit at the fort, for the rest of the time he just gave some basic info on the bus and we were left alone.

After a bit of a slow start getting out of KL, we ended up having a great day trip. Johnson, our tour guide was great. As we got closer to Malacca, he filled us with interesting stories and the history of the area.
The included lunch was surprisingly nice and the comfort of AC was very welcomed. Great Day out, highly recommend!

Great itinerary…and our great guide, Ning, was really informative and shared lots of information with us. Enjoyed seeing Malacca, the mosque, temples, and churches, and Jonker Street as well. It’s 2 hours out there and it took over 3 hours to return to the city. Enjoyed the day!

This is a good deal if you don't want to spend the night in Melaka. But as other reviews say the time you spent on bus is particularly long. The guide was informative and funny and the lunch was good, but there were not so much vegetarian choices. Organisers might work on that.
Also I took this trip on Monday and only when I arrived there, I was informed that all government-run museums were closed, which was a real pity.

Great tour! Yes a long drive but totally worth it, what an interesting town. Great lunch and free time at the end of the tour was good. Johnson was an excellent guide and our driver did well (double the time to get home due to end of long weekend traffic!).

Great tour covering all the highlights of Malacca in one day. Vino was an excellent guide. From the minute we got on the bus, she explained how the day was planned and at each stop gave us lots of background information. She really seemed to care that we enjoyed our day and our driver Mr Magan was excellent.
Highly recommend this tour as it manages to cover all the main tourist attractions in one day, has a lovely lunch included and you even get a couple of hours before leaving to explore on your own. This gives you time to visit the museum, the shops or have a short river cruise.

Convenient day trip to Malacca the historic city of Malaysia, which was one of the most important cities for trade, around the fifteenth century. the oldest of the four famous trading ports in southwest Asia. The tour includes old city, church, mosque, temple, Portuguese fortress, Dutch neighbourhood, main square, and ends with lunch and some free time to visit other places or for shopping.

It was a nice tour...The tour guide was knowledgeable but he wasn't always aware of where all of the people were on the tour. Sometimes he didn't wait for everyone to be present before he started giving us knowledge about a particular stop. Other than that it was a wonderful tour.

A fun and informative day in Melaka. Thanks to Mr Dass for smooth driving and regular toilet breaks in both directions. The seats on the bus have loads of legroom and were very spacious. The best of any trip I have been on. Vino was our tour guide and lead the way make sure we all understood the itinerary and our responsibility to the other 21 people on the tour to come back to each meeting point on time. She also give great insight to the historic and geographic importance of the Malacca Straits which I was unaware of before the visit.
I would advice you download WhatsApp before you travel as this is the primary method of communication before and during the trip. Vino provided clear details on collection point and time using this app. You can also communicate with her during the tour using this app.
All in all a very well organised day.
The food at lunch time was excellent.

The tour guide seems very inexperienced. I would suggest a few improvements: 1. Stand directly in front of Starbucks, the gathering point, as opposed to on the road so that people can see you without you having to call them individually, as they may not have proper cell reception 2. Tell people in advance that the first stop is 1.5 hour away and then give them a chance to use the restroom before departure, to avoid any bathroom emergencies 3. Never say "meet me there at 2pm" and then point your finger at a place, as different travelers are attending at a different location and may interpret the location you are pointing at differently. This has led to me waiting at the wrong spot thus missing the rest of the guided tour in Melaka. Instead, stand at the meeting spot and say "meet me here at 2pm". Much clearer and less ambiguous. 4. Announce the stops where you drop people off during the return trip, so that passengers do not get off at the wrong spot thinking there is only one stop as was the case during pickup.

This was a nice tour. Excellent guide who provided lots of historical points and tips on activities. Good transfer from hotel. The lunch was a highlight. Easy bus ride, hassle free.
