What are people saying about Kuala Lumpur

Outstanding
The guide: I had Ayyanar and he was exceptional. Very informative, really nice and friendly and very caring. Knew all the locations, history and a tonne about each area, the festivals and all sorts of other bits of information. He was really excellent. The tour: also exceptional. You hit a bunch of spots on the tour but the main theme is diversity. If you want to see some highlights of Malay, Chinese and Indian culture as well as Islamic, Hindu and Taoist/Buddhist culture this is definitely the way to go. Because you see so much you dont get to spend a tonne of time at each one, but its a brilliant start if you want to get the lay of the land and see how much of a melting pot KL and Malaysia is. Would highly recommend the tour to anyone who hasnt seen much of KL before.

Fantastic and informative
Thanks to Stephen for a brilliant informative tour, there was lots to see and he knew everything and answered all questions with ease and great knowledge. We got to see a lot of the true Malaysian lifestyle and the different cultures, it was definitely worth the money and we would recommend.

Great Choice For A Little of Everything Within A Short Time
This tour is great choice for a first time visitor to Kuala Lumpur. The 4-hour itinerary packs a variety of experiences, blending nature, culture, history, art and shopping in half a day. It's a great introduction to Malaysian history, culture and tourism. Alexsia is an incredibly considerate, friendly, knowledgeable and experienced guide. He will give you useful tips and interesting information about all the sites you will visit. I highly recommend him!

For nature lovers
The 3 hour ride (half of which was quite mountainous), was a bit rough on my stomach. However the experience we got out of it was amazing. Especially recommended for people who have a shorter stay in Kuala Lumpur only, so that you can see the country side of Malaysia and its indigenous people and their lifestyles.

Not seeing something you are looking for?

If you prefer to base in one city rather than switching hotels every day or two, day trips from Kuala Lumpur bring great swathes of Malaysia within reach. From the UNESCO World Heritage-listed city of Melaka to the Cameron Highlands tea plantations and the modern planned city of Putrajaya, there’s culture aplenty. Or take the time to discover nature, whether hiking tropical forests, getting up close and personal with orangutans, or gliding through mangroves thronged with fireflies.
