Aka was really nice and informative. Her driver did a great job maneuvering the roads and traffic. The temple was very interesting. My favorite was the cable car and the Chang chew temple. Being in the mountains with the fog coming in was ethereal.

Shorts and sleeveless shirts are not allowed for the temple visit
You will have to remove your shoes before entering the temple

Important Notice: Awana Skyway will be closed for maintenance from 10–14 Nov 2025. Tickets will be replaced with a ride from Gohtong Jaya, and Chin Swee Temple visit will be skipped.
Please bring your own umbrella or raincoat in case of rain, as the tour will proceed as scheduled, even in wet weather conditions

Good tour

We had a great experience with Lionel as our guide for Batu Caves and Genting Highlands. He was friendly, helpful, and accommodating, and gave us ample time to explore without feeling rushed. Highly recommended!

William is the best

William the tour guide was very quick on his feet and made a last minute adjustment to the trip itinerary so that we were able to enjoy our trip as much as possible. There was known high traffic of travelers flooding the Batu caves in the morning of our trip so William changed our plans so we did Batu caves second and highlands first to avoid large lines. We arrived at the cable car for highlands before a very large group of tourists arrived and William made sure he prepped us with a game plan on how to navigate the cable car station so that we could make our way up before the masses, and it was successful it was a good call. When we went to Batu caves there was not much crowd at all and even though we only had about 1.5 hours there, with the small amount of people there I was able to explore all of the temple and cave area, it was a lot of fun. Also, before we got to Batu caves, William did a great job giving us the history of the place so we know which gods were worshipped in which areas and gave us an idea of what is was all for, it made my experience seeing all the temple that much more special as I was able to give prayers to the right gods for the right things. He also did a good history for the highland but I really appreciated the Batu caves most. He did a good job providing balance of education and funny commentary, and giving us quiet times to relax and enjoy the ride

Fun at Getting Highlands

Our tour guide Gerald is full of energy and with a good sense of humor. We were picked up on time. We were a group of 22 people and we rode a comfortable bus. We visited Batu Caves and a store that sells coffee, tea, and snacks. It's about an hour to Genting Highlands but traffic was horrible and so we arrived past 13:00 already. We rode the Awana Skyway cable car to the top. Gerald gave clear instructions what to do until the final meeting time. We opted to just stay in the Skytropolis indoor theme park, at least we just paid for the rides that we actually availed, unlike in the Skyworld outdoor theme park where there are 26 rides covered by the single entry ticket price but due to limited time, you won't be able to ride most of them. We had lunch at Souled Out restaurant and the food was good. There was time to visit the premium outlets. We used the cable car again going down but we didn't drop by Chin Swee temple anymore. We were at the meeting place by 18:00, and we were back safely at KLCC by 19:10.

The tour was good but unfortunately there were closures and other things (we were unaware that you need ORIGINAL passport to gamble in casino). The guide and driver were great but wish tour itself had disclosed a little more helpful information.
