I've been to 19 different counties and this tour operator was truly one of the worse tour guides i have ever come across.
Vera was obviously forced to be there based on his body language, the way he talked, walked and acted throughout the trip.
Usually small things like saying hello when first meeting a person and bye when leaving are common courtesy but not with this man. oviding water is as well now days but
Firstly our 10 hour tour lasted 7 hours. He rushed us from place to place, never gave us an opportunity to take photos anywhere and most of the time was rushing ahead of us and seemed annoyed when we actually wanted to take a photo. Other tour operators ask us if we want our photos taken but this guide not even once thought about taking our photos let alone telling us places to take good photos. He barely talked throughout the trip and didn't know much about the history of Malacca which was our destination and when he did talk, i could barely understand him due to thus thick accent.
To top this disappointing tour, besides the water not provided which was a first for me when going on tour but our promised local meal was turned into a Thai restaurant which isnt halal although my my name is a Muslim name and my mum who was in the tour wears a scarf. No back up options, no research and planning before hand and then when i asked for a local Turkish restaurant, he says it will be over our budget and takes us to Maccas.
This is the worst tour of my 4 country Asian tour and i wouldn't recommend particular tour to anyone.

Very nice excursion and definitley a must when you travel to KL. Our guide Vera was very nice and explained us everything about the past and present of Malaca. The 2 museums of free entrance are worrh visiting to get deaper into the history of Malaca.

It was an awesome day! Mr Vera is a great guide and driver. The lunch was good; i am a picky eater but enjoyed it. A lot of history but not too overwhelming. Melaka is definitely a pretty city.

Ahmed was such a good guide full of knowledge and direction and humour but don’t believe him if he says to try durian!! It’s up to you. We found Malacca a historical lovely place to visit and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Definately worth a day of your trip to visit. Thank you Ahmed 😊

we got, what we wanted: a transfer from KL to Malakka. But not more.
The guide/driver was hard to understand and had a low knowledge base of the EN languague. There was not more information than I would get through any search engines. The car is maybe not the most comfy for a 2-h ride (one way) but it was ok.
The driver/guide had to drive according the navigation system and the links he got provided by the tour agency. That means, we have been driven to a point of the itinerary, could explore it for us and the driver/guide was waiting for us to return. If I would rate this as a private tour? Private: yes, for the part you have your own driver. From a view of getting a tour: no - it is just the transfer in between the selected points on the itinerary and no space for adoption. Visiting Malakka? Absolutely!

This full day tour, 10 hours, of Malacca was a very good way to see Malacca if you are staying in Kuala Lumpur. It was a private tour in a car. Ahmed, our driver and guide, gave us plenty of time to see the historic centre after we had entered museums and info centres. We had a marvellous lunch in a historic Nyonya restaurant, included in the price. Ahmed was an excellent driver, friendly and courteous, and very knowledgeable.

Everything I wanted from this tour was provided. It’s a long drive from Kuala Lumpur, so be prepared (2 hours there and 4 hours back). Went on a Sunday, maybe weekday is better for traffic. Guided was knowledgeable and accommodating.

Our guide was fabulous and made the trip informative and exciting. He gave us two hours of free time to take the boat tour. The town of Malacca is vibrant and full of history. The canal adds to the charm of the place.

Malacca is charming. We like the tricycle adorned with colour's. The old homes are picturesque. Our tour guide did a good job of telling the history of the town.

Malacca day tour is a wonderful one day addition to your KL itinerary. It's a scenic drive and a lot of historical photographic places in the city. If you are a history buff, then there are a lot of museums to explore. You may try the cycle rickshaws as well. Our guide cum driver Mr. Kassim was excellent. He knows a lot of details about the city and took us to amazing spots. He is a safe driver and made our experience memorable. He also took special care to take us to a pure vegetarian place for lunch and the food was outstanding. This is a must book tour and ask for Mr. Kassim.

Clean car and nice guide.
However, the English of the guide was difficult to understand.
The guide was walking in front of us and not noticing when we had to stop to look at things.
Would not recommend.
We had much better private tour in Indonesia the days before.

We booked this tour on fairly short notice, but everything went well. The guide picked us up at our hotel on time, he was polite, spoke very good English and was a safe driver.
Unfortunately the entire experience was rather impersonal. The guide never even introduced himself (we did) and the entire time seemed disinterested and bored.
We have taken tours all around the world and usually the guides are eager to present their country/culture and are interested in communication with their clients, especially if it is a private tour with just 2 people.
The guide seemed more focused on going through the itinerary as quickly as possible (and otherwise on his phone).
He did not offer any insight unless prompted (i.e. there is an abandoned monorail in the city, we passed it, he didn't comment on it at all, we had to ask about it and his comment boiled down to: "It wasn't finished.")
There just wasn't a connection at all unfortunately.
The experience of course is always heavily influenced by the guide you get, so you experience might differ drastically from ours.
The tour itself has a good itinerary and the restaurant for lunch was a pleasant surprise (best food we had in Malaysia!), there was enough time to explore the area on our own and we enjoyed our day overall. Would recommend!

Let me first say that our driver was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and entertaining. My review also has nothing to do with the tour operator.
Malacca is just a boring place.
The historical part of Malacca is like 2 blocks big and a bit touristy. Awfully decorated rickshaws everywhere. Apart from the red square there just wasn’t much to look at that you can’t see in KL or any other Malay town. Lunch was brilliant though. Very tasty and lots of it.
We got dropped off for some street shopping and found a great little Mexican restaurant and drank cocktails for an hour or so. That and the lunch were the best parts of Malacca.
Is the 2 hour drive from KL to see Malacca worth it? Not really but the drive was interesting because of our guide.
