The perfect trip and guide

I wish I could rate this place high than 5/5. It was simply incredible. The whole day was absolutely perfect you have to book this trip. You visit paradise and never want to go back. Sadly there were thunderstorms in the late evening so couldn’t go to the beach to see the bioluminescent plankton but my guide took me on a canoe into the caves of hong island where you could see the plankton in the water, it was magical! My guide, San, was an absolute legend. Every time I come back to Phuket I will make sure to meet with him because he is the nicest person in the world. 5starmarine is very lucky to have him! Thank you so much for everything ❤️

We had a group of 15 and the tour was fabulous. We had a medical episode on board and the crew went above and beyond to get us to the closest medical facility. If you’re visiting Phuket and want a truly meaningful animal experience, I can’t recommend the Elephant Nature Reserve Sanctuary enough. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this place genuinely puts the elephants first. There’s no riding, no performances—just respect, care, and space for these incredible animals to live peacefully. You can feel the difference immediately. We had the chance to walk alongside the elephants, feed them, and watch them interact naturally—bathing, playing, and just being elephants. The staff were knowledgeable, kind, and clearly passionate about what they do. They shared each elephant’s story, and you could tell these animals are not just cared for—they’re loved. Everything was well organized, clean, and thoughtfully run. It didn’t feel commercialized or rushed at all, which made the experience even more special. If you’re going to visit elephants in Thailand, do it the right way—this is the kind of place that deserves support. An unforgettable experience for all the right reasons.

Amazing experience!

This was an amazing experience that I would highly recommend. The staff were incredible, friendly, attentive, and truly made the experience special. The only downside for me was the food. I ordered the vegetarian option, and while it was tasty, the main course was simply a head of broccoli with sauce, which didn’t feel very gourmet. That said, everything else was excellent, and I would still highly recommend it overall.

Absolutely amazing experience. I chose this for early start time and we were done by 2pm! Such a fun morning/afternooon. Beautiful sunrise that they stopped the boat for. They gave snacks and the breakfast on the beach was small but filling with a beautiful background. They even took pictures for guests. I was on Simba 7 with Joseph and crew, thank you so much!

Worth every penny

awesome time. Everything was incredibly efficient, including Pickup from the hotel and a very nice taxi. Mama Coco and the rest of the staff we're all very generous. Highly recommend, when checking in, asking about renting a cabana. Well worth it. Big boat, lots of lounge chairs on the top deck. Food was really good, I especially enjoyed the sushi option during lunch! During the swim portion, they have a big inflatable waterslide that is really fun and you can jump off the side of the boat if you wish also. The cave canoe was really cool, worth the trip alone just to do the cave canoe.

Better than a speed boat tour....

Absolutely loved our tour from Phuket to James Bond Island! The canoe experience through the caves was unforgettable — the second cave was especially stunning. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was so fresh and delicious, prepared with ingredients bought that same morning. Our guide, James, was fantastic — full of energy, kept everyone organized and happy, and explained everything so well. The boat was perfect too — much more enjoyable than a speedboat, with fresh air and room to move around. Alec, who guided our canoe, was also wonderful. Five stars all the way — highly recommended!

The tour was nice. The tour guide Alex was knowledgeable and kept the group engaged for the length of the tour. Sunblock and a large hat are a must. Eating an early lunch before the afternoon tour is helpful. Snacks were available for purchase at multiple venues to tie you over before dinner.

Great tour - amazing snorkeling

We enjoyed this tour. Lots of drinks and food and the pick up and drop off was on time and very comfortable. The places we visited were beautiful, but very busy with other boats. I guess this is to be expected, but I was quite shocked by the amount of people. Our boat and crew were excellent. We snorkeled in a rain storm and it was the best I've ever seen. Loved every second of that. An afternoon beer/drink would have been a nice addition :)
