We had a great experience on the cycle tour of Gibraltar. Our guide, Nabil, was excellent and had an impressive knowledge of the area. He was very helpful getting everyone set up and comfortable on the e-bikes before we got going. The ride up the Rock is quite steep, but the e-bikes handled it with no problem and made the climb very manageable. It’s a fantastic and intimate way to tour the Rock and experience Gibraltar from a different perspective. One thing to keep in mind: if you’re older and don’t ride a bike very often, this may not be the tour for you. Even with the electric assistance, you still need to be reasonably comfortable and confident on a bike. Overall, a great tour, excellent guide, and a very memorable way to see Gibraltar. Highly recommended

Personal. Caring. Fun.

This is the only was to see Tangier, with Ali as a private guide. He treated us like family with wonderful information, care and kindness. Always listening to our questions and interest, and with great joy. His excellent driver took us smoothly and safely through the city and to the many sights, stopping for stories, information, photos, drop off and pick up at places that we explored with Ali. Ali was well known, recognized and enjoyed by many of his friends and colleagues throughout the tour. He easily adjusted the tour to our interests, keeping us safe and on time, even though we missed one ferry back because of our shopping, he got us to the next one and back to Gibraltar. He quickly responded when we discovered that another couple had “stolen” our taxi, and quickly made sure another came. Somewhere we lost a pair of sunglasses. But the next day, Ali returned to each of our stops and tried to find them. Perhaps they will arrive with some items that are to be shipped! That shows the extra effort Ali and his tour company put into caring for his customers.

This was just a lot of fun, even though we were in a bit of a time crunch. (For other cruise passengers, make sure you budget time to get to and from the marina where this boat is.) The crew were friendly and efficient, and found a good sized pod of dolphins for us to watch. Great way to spend a couple of hours.

Private Tour of Gibraltar

While I booked this tour for my wife and myself, it turned out that only I was able to take it. And by the time I booked it, all the morning times were taken and so I did the half-day tour in the afternoon (which is a little tight since I came off a cruise ship and they don't remain in Gibraltar very long. I'm very pleased to say that it all turned out very nice and I give a lot of credit to my personal tour guide, Chris. He finished his morning tour a little early and contacted me to say he could pick me up at the ship about a half-hour early. Terrific news given I was worried about that return time. And, since it was only me, I asked if I could ride up front and Chris was fine with that. It made for a wonderful time together, like two old chums driving through Gibraltar. Chris was very knowledgeable and shared the history of "the rock". Chris also already had the pass I would need pre-purchased. As we covered each stop, he prepared me on what to expect, the best way to work my way through the sight, about how much time I should budget, and where he would meet me when I came out. He also carefully prepared me for how to maneuver through the monkeys! It was a great several hours together and before we returned to the ship, Chris took me to the airport to watch the procedure for closing the pedestrian walkway while we also watched a British Airways jet take off. A really good visit and great several hours together.

Incredible day out in Gibraltar! Kids’ favourite cruise port and excursion!

Tony was the best tour guide! So much to see and do in Gibraltar. We had a short timeline due to it being part of a cruise, but Tony made sure we got see all the highlights of this amazing place. All three of our kids agreed it was THE highlight of our entire cruise. The history, the apes, the culture-fantastic experience all around. Our weather was cloudy, so we did not get to see any of the views (to include most of the rock), but even without that, it was still incredible. Highly recommend this for an unforgettable experience in Gibraltar. Thanks again, Tony!

Fantastic Day tour in Tangier

The communication was great, they helped plan our trip to suit our location and groups itinerary. The breakfast and lunch were very good, the beach camel ride was fun and the markets interesting. We would have liked an extra hour to explore markets more but we had crammed a lot into the day. Hamza our guide, was outstanding, Ishmael our driver was excellent, the vehicle was large and air-conditioned our group of 6 were comfortable. A great day highly recommended. We took ferry from Tarifa, 1 hour each way, also comfortable,easy through customs

Don't miss this with the Dolphin Safari crew.

Don't miss the experience. If you take a late evening boat cruise, there may not be too many of you. The crew and captain were exemplary hosts. I wish I'd asked for their names. The nuggets of information; all priceless. We saw a pod of about 40 to 50 spread over a quarter of a nautical mile radius. They're more sociable than human so you'll love it.

An unforgettable amazing experience!

This was such a great experience! My partner and I enjoyed this even more than we thought we would. The mix of history, nature, physicality and the most amazing views, all with a fantastic guide and host in Stephen. A moderate amount of fitness is required, and even then it is challenging, but it is also very rewarding and provides a great sense of achievement on completion. There is a mix of hills and steps, bitumen and rocks and shade and sun. We brought a 600ml water each but I would recommend taking more, at least a 1.25 litre water each. And do wear a hat and sunscreen. We began right on time, steadily working our way up and we saw some cute monkeys after only a short while! There were many historical sites that we stopped at, and Stephen was a wealth of information at every turn. I particularly enjoyed learning about the defense history but also learning all about how Gibraltar functions today independently of the UK and Spain. It was all super interesting and the hike would not have been anywhere near as enjoyable without Stephen guiding the way and providing the backstory for all that we saw. He also took us into St.Michaels cave and the WW2 tunnels which were so impressive. You do pay another £30 (by card only) to gain access to the rock/nature reserve and are provided with an access wristband but it's still a great value afternoon out. There are also toilets on the route for convenience. The views from the top were incredible! I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. It is for sure one of the absolute highlights of our trip and we will be talking about it for a long time. Thank you so much Stephen for taking us up and showing us your amazing backyard

Tour you won’t regret. Beautiful sites, historical knowledge and life experiences. Really unique.

The only way to see a lot in a short amount of time. We were visiting family in Spain and decided at the last minute to visit Gibraltar. Booked this tour which was incredible. Private vehicle, lots of information and history about the sites and the island. Worth every penny for the once in a lifetime opportunity. We are so glad we did this.

A must do for gin lovers!

Tasting was fun and informative. The owner needed to switch the time of our tour to accommodate a larger group, but he gave us several days advanced notice to decide if we could make the switch to avoid a cancellation fee which we appreciated. This tour is an easy 25 minute walk from the cruise port, fyi.
