⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️- Great experience!
5⭐️ experience from beginning to end with some bonus assistance in finding other tours later in the week.
Matthew and Dave were very informative, friendly, and the culinary choices/ restaurants we visited were top-notch. This is a “must-do” if you are visiting the region.

20th Anniversary Glamping Trip
If you want to experience local cuisine, understand the history behind it and have it feel like you are just out with a good friend, this is the tour for you! Joshua was amazing. So down to earth and a wealth of information. It was obvious he thoroughly enjoyed what he did and was extremely good doing it. I enjoyed every dish, even the ceviche and I don’t like seafood 😊

Time and money well spent ✨️🫶🏽
Highly recommended! 🍫🤎 A very entertaining and complete experience. We learned a lot about the whole cocoa process, we participated in the preparation, and we tried many combinations of chocolate with different toppings. In addition, we made our own chocolates to take home 🥰
And a special mention to César, who made the experience even better. He made us laugh and infected us the whole time with his energy and joy, in addition to explaining and teaching us in a super entertaining way.
Greetings to Cesar from Chile!😊😊

Angel was an amazing tour guide and teacher. From the moment he met the group he was very informative, funny, entertaining and helpful. I really enjoyed his conversations about food and traveling and was very patient when we asked questions about San Jose. The food was excellent as well. We started in the Central Market, ate delicious ice cream and walked around. Then we went to the café and started drinking and eating. We had about 4 cocktails - some we made with as much/little alcohol you prefer and some were premade. We ate about 3 tapas dishes. I won't say much so as to not ruin what was served but let me just say it was an enjoyable time.

Chocolate & Coffee, yes please
This tour is fabulous. The guides are very knowledgeable. Our guide Dider was terrific. He took us step by step in the process of the Cacao plant to the final product. We learned how the plant appeared, how it germinates, the pods, seeds and then the drying process. Bonus is we were able to make our own chocolate with a variety of added ingredients (milk, sugar, cinnamon, etc). Next we learned about the coffee plant and the differences between the types of roasting. We learned about the process of pour over vs cowboy coffee. At the end we were able to sample some different chocolate and taste a variety of coffee.

Great cultural experience!
We had a great time in this local cooking class! Cathy was so kind and patient, and shared about cultural aspects of what we were cooking. We made Casado with chicken, rice and beans, vegetables and homemade tortillas - and it was delicious! Else can’t wait to make this again at home!

See San José by bike!
We had a great time on our tour, there was a protest march on at the time and Jorge took care to alter our route so that we did not get mixed up in it! We had some really tasty food and learned about coffee in a very classy coffee restaurant where we got to drink eome special coffee. Jorge was extremely knowledgeable about the history of San Jose and Costa Rica. Highly recommended tour!

Delicious Tour!
This tour was super fun! All steps of the chocolate process were experiences (all to the soundtrack of howler monkeys!). My family particularly enjoyed the “design your own specialty chocolate blends!” The guides were fun and knew their stuff! Would definitely do this tour again!

Great tour - despite a slight hiccup with our collection due to some last minute bookings, we got to the plantation in good hands, and enjoyed being shown around. The chocolate tasting and explanation of the growing and processing was great, as was the generous tastings! Also great to learn about coffee, even as a non-coffee drinkers

Costa Rica is Perfectly Splendid “Pura Vida”
We hit the ground running and experienced the best culture night tour on the streets of San Jose, Costa Rica. So much history, heard about William Walker who actually lived in my city, New Orleans, This tour was above and beyond greater than any of my expectations. Karol and Johana were amazing guides, we learned so much and there was so much to see, cork trees, beautiful parks, coffe bean trees, historical buildings, art work, live opera performance as we were passing by! Bravo with a wave. We met great people too.
Somos más que Café is were I experience a warm and tasty cup of coffee, it was a cappuccino with a hit of ginger and lime, it was so very delightful. We ended our night at a very unique dinning spot with the best Authentic Costa Rican food ever, there were several meal options to choose from, drinks for me 2 glasses of Sangria, My dessert was a brownie with vanilla ice cream, “ you know what it’s called” Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!🇨🇷🫶🏽🇨🇷
