A Happy Grandma Bucket List Event!
The Zipline company staff and equipment are very thorough and well maintained. I am 78 and one guide was very watchful and caring for my safety. He wisely advised me to reconsider a part of the excursion due to altitude and steep steps. I missed a few lines with my granddaughter but joined the group for most of the lines. The guides informed my teenage granddaughter and assisted her. We had a fantastic time and this satisfied a dream for me to Zipline through the rainforest. I have great memories and photos of the LaFortuna waterfall. The thrill of successfully zipping through the rainforest was all that I anticipated. The guides made this experience wonderful 😊👍.

Wonderful tour but take caution if you’re not in shape!
This is absolutely a must do activity in Costa Rica. They have 11 ziplines and 2 rappels which seem scary but they’re super fun, and the views are wonderful. The guides were really kind and friendly and moved at our pace, especially because the walk up is pretty exhausting for someone who isn’t naturally athletic. The one thing I didn’t like was that even though they do have an emergency brake, they had us brake/slow down with our right arm, which often meant the line pulled our arms back quite a bit especially when going fast. I think that possibly pulled a muscle in my arm, and I was extremely sore for several days. Be warned - if you’re not in shape, the hike is rough, and be careful when braking with your arm.

Highly Recommend!
Our guides, Kiever and Fray, were amazing! Very patient with the five of us in our group. Never felt rushed or in danger. Our ages were 66, 66, 69, 70, and 80! Two youngest did the optional repelling. Only the 66 male did the Tarzan swing, which was a real rush (similar to a bungee jump).

The best experience!!
My husband and I had such a great time!
The guides were very sweet and made us feel very safe! I’m terrified of heights and I had a blast!
We went during the dry season so the trees were not green (so no monkeys while on the zipline). It was still very beautiful being on the mountain, just bring sunscreen!!

Go 4 It!
We did this tour with 3 adults and 1 teen. What a blast! I have done zip -lines before but this one takes the cake. From the highly, to the speed, to the amount of zip-lines and bridges. The whole time, the crew made us feel safe, secure, and gave us the extra push to give us the experience of a lifetime. If you may be scared to book this, just go for it. You won’t regret it. The lunch was amazing and Thank You, to everyone that put these memories into our chest of memories. Pura Vita!

Full Day Adventure
ATV/Waterfall Repelling/zip lining
This was such a fun experience! We started day with Andres doing ATV riding and had a great time enjoying the forest landscape while seeing wildlife as well. The waterfall repelling was another great experience and the guides Carlos and Luis made us feel safe the whole time. They took pictures for us as we were repelling and also when we both completed. We came back for lunch and the chicken was amazing and so was the homemade juice. We finished the tour off with Zip lining and Jesus, Luis, and Carlos did such an amazing job. We did 7 zip lines with the final two being the highest and the longest ones. I would definitely recommend anyone who visits Jaco to come do this tour with these amazing guides to help you and protect you along the way

Terrific canyoning experience! (Fix metal bolts sticking out of rock.)
It was great. I loved the combination of zipline, rappelling, and bouldering that we got to do. The guides were very professional and we felt safe and cared for.
I had two pieces of feedback for the company.
1. There was one small rappelling drop where we needed to rappel down a boulder that had two very large metal bolts sticking straight out of the rock. As I watched everyone rappel down it each person had to try very carefully not to scrape their legs on the metal bolts/screws right there. It seems like an accident waiting to happen so I put this feedback here so that something can be done to improve the safety of that particular rappelling drop.
2, I think they could offer the activity without the large lunch right before. The food was delicious but we were served a large buffet and then immediately loaded into a tractor for a 20 minute bumpy ride to the canyoning location so it might have been better to eat a little less beforehand.

Amazing views and guides! So fun!
This experience was so fun and well managed! Though sometimes I was scared, I felt safe the whole time. The Tarzan Swing was the scariest thing I've ever done, but the guides were so kind and patient, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip. The views were breathtaking. I'd recommend wearing shorts/pants long enough to protect from the harness, and a t shirt or jacket to protect from the lines and chilly weather (we ended up having to buy sweatshirts from the gift shop). Closed toe shoes are a must! We had a great time and it's a must do when in Costa Rica!

A must do activity in...
A must do activity in Monteverde! The ziplines were so fun and my hesitant older sister was so glad I convinced her to come! You walk the bridges independently so you can spend the time you need. EVERY guide, platform attendant or reception employee were professional, friendly and helpful. Ate lunch in the restaurant - also very good. There are separate butterfly and sloth experiences in this park - if we’d booked the morning tour would have had time for these (separate charge) experiences. Note that even the zipline experience requires lots of walking, mostly uphill👍

An absolute must
Must do. Very well organized, felt very safe with the equipment, the guides were amazing, and the zip-lines were absolutely incredible. The only con is that after this, the bar is so high that zip lining at other places may be lame. Did it with 2 kids, including a 10 year old that was super scared; however, the guides were very supportive by the time she made it across this was one of her favorite activities ever.

Wow!
I am petrified of heights but was able to do the ziplining and rappelling although it was still scary. The guides were absolutely wonderful and made you feel safe with every step of the way. I would only suggest this if you're in somewhat shape because you have to rappel down the cliff but then climb up this long ladder which is extremely tiring. I would recommend wearing hiking boots, too because it can get wet and slipper since you're in the rainforest. We got wonderful pictures and videos at the end, as well!

Dream came true
Our first real zip line experience. Soaring across the plush canopies of Monteverde’s cloud forest has been on of my personal bucket list items, and Selvatura Adventure Park made it real. The park crew’s attention to our safety was meticulous and focused. The views were eyegasmic! The zip lining was exhilarating! If you are in Costa Rica, it is a must do adventure. Highly Recommend!!

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Costa Rica ziplining tours offer a thrilling experience in the beautiful surroundings of the rainforest. You’ll never forget the feeling of gliding through a green canopy of trees surrounded by monkeys and tropical birds. You can zip past waterfalls and volcanic peaks in Arenal, take a sky walk across the treetops of a cloud forest, or combine ziplining with white-water rafting for a full day of adrenaline-packed activities. Some tours even finish with a soak in a natural thermal pool.
