Well-organized and fulfilling tour
This was a very well-organized and fulfilling tour. It covered all the must-see highlights around San José.We started at Doka Coffee Estate with breakfast and a coffee tour, then visited the Poas Volcano and Botos lagoon, and later explored La Paz Waterfall Gardens with animals, lunch, and waterfalls. The itinerary was packed but well-paced. Our guide, Fila, was experienced and explained everything clearly. Overall, it met my expectations and I would recommend it.

Lovely introduction to Costa Rica
A great value whole day trip. The pick up was spot on time. The transport was clean & well maintained. A great size friendly group. The guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a great coffee tour. He gave us loads of local information. Sadly the weather did not accommodate at the Volcano but the forest walk was lovely. Lunch was included at the La Paz waterfalls. Lots of local dishes to try. A great experience

Fun family adventure
Our guide, Mauricio was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a great time at the La Paz Waterfall and Garden tour. We did this at the start of our trip. We wanted to at least see some of the animals native to the area in case we were not able to see them in the wild. I was quite happy that we did not run into any large cats outside of an enclosure. This day did not feel too long. There was a stop on the way to and from the gardens.

  • This is a great stop for families with children as even younger kids can manage the walking trails.

  • Wear shoes with a good tread to manage the sometimes slippery trails.

  • The trails are well maintained, but several sets of stairs mean that not every area is accessible to strollers and wheelchairs.
