Felipe was a fantastic guide, he explained so much interesting history of San Jose and Costa Rica as we rode along. The coffee stop and empanada stop were wonderful. The traffic was very manageable, not a problem. Felipe made sure we had a safe ride. We would recommend this tour to anyone visiting San Jose.

We had a great time on our tour, there was a protest march on at the time and Jorge took care to alter our route so that we did not get mixed up in it! We had some really tasty food and learned about coffee in a very classy coffee restaurant where we got to drink eome special coffee. Jorge was extremely knowledgeable about the history of San Jose and Costa Rica. Highly recommended tour!

We had a free day at the end of our coast Rica tour as our flight wasn’t until 18.30 so we’re looking for something to do to fill the day. So pleased we did! Had a thoroughly enjoyable morning with Felipe who was very knowledgeable and passionate about his city. We were lucky that it was only the 2 of us so felt he could tailor make the tour to what we were interested in. Only wish we could have done this at the beginning of our tour as we would have loved to explore San Jose more,

Absolute blast doing this tour. Our guide had some great local stories, and the empanadas were fantastic. Good pace, and since it was just the two of us, our guide adapted the tour according to our preferences. Loads of fun.

It was a holiday when we did this tour so the roads weren't busy. Could be trickier with more traffic.
Great insight into San Jose and Costa Rican history. Really enjoyed the coffee tasting and exceptional empanadas at a local soda.

Our tour guide provided us with excellent history of Costa Rica. Very knowledgable about different neighborhoods in San Jose. We had fun biking around the city to find hidden gems, like delicious empanadas and coffee cafes. We would recommend this tour to anyone visiting San Jose.

It was a great introduction for me and my wife’s first day in Costa Rica. The route was hilly at times, but easy enough resting at each stop. Alex was knowledgeable, personable, and easygoing. The empanadas were great too! Pura Vida!

Alex was awesome! He really took the time to ensure we had an amazing experience. I am a hesitant cyclist and had no issues at all - I felt confident on the bike and with the routes taken. Malo was our very friendly bike tour guide! He was very informative about the history and culture of San José. We stopped at a coffee shop to have an amazing Costa Rican coffee tasting at Encafeinados, and we ate our empanadas that we grabbed earlier. After the tour, he even went out of his way and helped us find some mosquito repellent we were trying to find. I highly recommend this tour if you are in San José!

Alex and Roberto were both wonderful to deal with, knowledgeable and friendly. They keep the tours intimate and unique. The ride was fantastic. We learned about the culture, art, history, architecture, and politics of San Jose. What a delight! The food, drinks, and atmosphere were fantastic. We even saw two sloths within the city limits. San Jose is fairly limited in sites to see but this was a very good way of doing it. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend him.

This tour was perfect for us. We were comfortable biking in a city and around cars. there were some narrow spots, cobblestones, and these precipitous gutters at some points but if you're used to riding in a city around cars you will be fine.
The bikes were in good shape, brakes and gears worked well and they gave us all helmets.
The best part of this tour was how much of the city you got to see and the tasty street food near the hall of justice.
The guide was fantastic! Really knowledgeable and nice. He really loved showing the city to all of us and we saw so much more of it than we would have walking. We even got the privilege of seeing a sloth in the city, which was a real TREAT!
Do not hesitate, if you like bike tours this is the one for you.

This was such a great tour! Sadly I can not remember the name of the gentleman, but he was very knowledgeable and fun to talk to. We ended at a wonderful craft coffee place that explain the coffee harvesting methods and gave very accurate tasting notes. It was perfect.

Malo was my guide and he was not only a lot of fun, but very knowledgeable. We ended the tour at an amazing coffee shop (which unfortunately I can’t remember the name of) and they explained their coffee process. The coffee was delicate and floral with hints of blueberries. A perfect end to a wonderful tour.

Wir haben uns für eine halbtägige Fahrradtour durch San Jose entschieden (vorab gebucht übers Internet). Etwas komisch kamen wir uns schon vor, da sonst fast niemand in der Hauptstadt von Cost Rica mit dem Rad fährt...Wir hatten mit Pablo aber einen sehr guten Guide, der uns viel über Land und Leute vermittelt hat. Wirklich zu empfehlen, da man mehr sieht, als wenn man zu Fuss geht. Auch die Verpflegung während der Tour war wirklich gut!

Unser Tour Guide Alex war sehr engagiert und hat uns einige Plätze in San Jose gezeigt, die wir zum Teil auch noch nicht kannten. Er hat unsere Wünsche berücksichtigt und wir haben zwei schöne Cafes / Snackbars kennengelernt, Faultiere gesehen und einen Einblick in die Graffitti Szene bekommen. Trotz Verkehr gut mit dem Fahrrad machbar.
