This excursion had something for everyone! A nice scenic drive to and from :) An informative hike - bring your bug spray. An icy dip under a waterfall. A warm and relaxing soak in the hot springs. An optional mud bath - make sure you don't get it on your clothing because it stains! And finally a DELICIOUS buffet lunch. It seems like a long day, but it goes fast. We had a small but great group of travellers, which made the day memorable and perfect :)

Adventures in Volcano tour.

This was a full day activity. Our driver “Sidar” and main tour guide,”Bernie” were fantastic. During our drive time we got to learn about Costa Rica wildlife, diverse environments and culture of the country. The activities blended swinging bridge canopy walks, zip lining, short horseback riding, hiking, cultural education all in one tour! We were impressed with how friendly staff was. Plenty of people managing the activities. The food we had at lunch was “Local”, authentic Costa Rican cuisine, and some of our favorite of our vacation. The water slide was so much fun! Bernie made it a point to find monkeys, birds and other wildlife to help enhance the experience. My wife and I are in early 60’s, much easier for our kids in late 20’s, but it was great to experience all this together. Tipping the tour off with the sauna, mud bath and hot springs soak was welcomed for sore muscles. Highly recommended this tour for folks looking for a good blend of activities, education and fun!

Great Experience

This was a great experience. The boat had plenty of room. It was covered for people who didn't want to be in the sun all day. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was very friendly. We loved the music and people were dancing and having a good time. We got to see dolphins up close and the snorkeling was good. The snorkeling could have been better but it was cloudy and sometimes hard to see. There was a lot of swimming in order to keep up with our guide which was hard at times. We had a blast though and I would recommend it again!

Teens looking for fun!!!!

This was worth every penny. I traveled with teenagers and was looking for something to kickstart our vacation. This was definitely the best activity for that. We all had a lot of fun the guides were amazing and super knowledgeable and friendly. Great family day!

We had a great day at the adventure park! The ziplining was an adventure for sure - my teens loved it! I made it through :) The animal park had way more animals than we expected - it was very well staffed and it was so neat to see all the different animals! Buffet lunch had good choices for all, even my picky eater. It was my kid's birthday and the staff were all so lovely saying happy birthday!

Fun and exciting for my 16 old son and his friends and for myself and adult friends. Our guides were great! Visiting the private, secluded beach was our favorite part. Make sure you purchase or bring something to cover nose and mouth. It is very dusty during the dry season. This was the kids favorite activity of the trip.

Great Experience!

We had a great catamaran experience with our two boys (18 and 15)! The boat ride itself was awesome, and during the stop you have the option to stay on the boat, snorkel near the reef, or head up to the beach. We chose to snorkel and saw a stingray near the sandy shoreline, lots of puffer fish, sea cucumbers, colorful tropical fish, and even an eel! The tour guides were very kind and the music was enjoyable and not too loud, which we appreciated. Lunch was very good, and the homemade banana bread was absolutely outstanding! It was quite wavy on our trip and a couple of other travelers did end up getting seasick but the crew was quick to respond and very helpful to them. Great excursion!

This was a great way to experience multiple stops in Costa Rica, shuttle was comfortable, guides were great, and lunch was authentic and tasty. There was a breakfast stop. The only word of caution is that this can be a very long excursion. We left Playa Grande at 5:45am and got back at 8:00pm.

Fun full day of adventure

This full-day tour packed in a lot of adventure. Everything was well-organized. Armando was a great guide and provided a lot of interesting information about Costa Rica on the long drive. Wear dry fit clothes and bring water shoes for the tubing and hot springs (we wore sneakers for zip lining and horseback riding and changed shoes for the tubing). You can leave bags on the van, which follows you through the day. Also bring a change of clothes for the long ride back. All of the activities were a lot of fun, and the lunch was very nice. Our favorites were the zip lining and river tubing (which was pretty intense...definitely not a lazy river).

Exceptional trip

Fantastic tour! I thought it was just a party boat with sunset view. In fact, it was wayyyyy more than that. The sail started with an easy vibe, and got us to the other quieter shore. From there, the boat anchored somewhere distanced from the beach, and they provided various kinds of equipment for us to swim, snorkel, or SUP. My partner and I were not really good swimmers, but we felt very safe swimming there with floating bars. The lunch (or more like afternoon tea regarding time) was Costa Rican style food, which included one of the best chicken I’ve ever had. The sunset was spectacular, and plus you got to enjoyed it with amazing people and vibes. We were super lucky to see some dolphins and a whale. It’s almost impossible to imagine an experience like this at this price. Anyway, five stars and highly recommended.
