Bologna with passion
Beautiful, pleasant, casual and intimate tour with Paolina today - even though it was raining the porticos served us well - we thoroughly enjoyed the historical facts, insights, highlights and some perspectives of the culture and foods development of Bologna and the region. Paolina really brings to point, to view things through a step back look
Up look down look all around kind of perspective.. we almost felt like it was a bit of an exploration… we highly recommend…she’s a very passionate, personable and genuine soul!

What an amazing tour with Stefania!
Stefania’s tour was perfection! While it was an early start, Stefania was easy to find, the tour started on time and the drive was very comfortable. All of the stops were amazing and the lunch was out of this world! This tour far exceeded our expectations and we would absolutely do it again in a heartbeat! Thank you Stefania for being such an amazing tour host!

Catarina filled our day...
Catarina filled our day (and our bellies) with a very diverse experience. She made a rainy day in Bologna feel like an afternoon with an old friend who had a few food shopping errands to do.
She generously and casually shared her expertise and history as a local (and pasta chef). Catarina was easy to listen to and led a comprehensive, well-rounded tour. The order of our tastes made sense to the palate and yes—we left satiated. Folks with food sensitivities on this trip seemed to have options as well.
Tasting balsamico in a wine cellar and the secret (authentic) osteria were highlights, and the creameria/gelato was the best I had in my 11 days in “Eat-ily.”

A pleasant experience!
What could have been a disaster( as a request re the food had been missed) but Thora our guide was extremely helpful & made a few calls to sort out that problem. So all in all we had a wonderful day with great company. A special mention for Thora who was both professional, friendly & knowledgeable not only about Bologna its history & food culture but also Italian wine in general.

This walking tour was...
This walking tour was great. Our guide, Victoria, was a few minutes late but she more than made up for it at the end! We enjoyed learning about the history of the city and also walking through the market and learning about the food. A great way to spend two hours getting to know the town.

Fabulous Food Tour
Really fabulous food tour - a must do while in Bologna. So much incredible food but it is spread out during the 4.5 hours and there is walking in there too. Our guide was Mattia, who is also the owner of Delicious Bologna. He was very knowledgeable and Bologna native. I highly recommend!

A must see for even the...
A must see for even the non car gurus! Giancarlo was very accommodating and knowledgeable about the history of motor valley. Lamborghini factory tour is only the Urus line, not the sports car line, still very interesting. Ferrari museum is so amazing! Pagani was very interesting and a glimpse into their production. Lunch was GREAT!!!

This was not our first...
This was not our first chance to explore Bologna. We had a wonderful time with our guide, Roberta, who immersed us in the food that makes Bologna such a renowned gastronomical destination. She walked us through the streets just enough to build our appetite and help us work off some of the incredible dishes she shared along the way. I highly recommend this experience to anyone wondering, “What should I eat when I’m in Bologna?”

Wonderful introduction to Bologna.
This tour provided a perfect introduction to the special cuisine of Bologna. We learned a lot and had fun along the way. And the food / wine we tasted was delicious.
Our guide Darren was fabulous; he was friendly and knowledgeable and very interesting. I would definitely take another tour with him in the future.

Incredible VIP Experience through the heart of Emilia Romana
This was an experience of a lifetime. From the moment we were picked up until the end of the day we felt well taken care of and treated like VIPs. Despite being fairly adventurous on our own, my husband and I both believe we would have never made it to all of these places and received the same treatment in just one day. It was a fast pass to the heart of the Emilia Romana region and a true cannot-miss if you only have a few days in the area. Don’t think twice, book this tour!

My girlfriend and I took...
My girlfriend and I took a pasta course with Maria Grazia in her apartment in Bologna, and it was a wonderful experience. She was very welcoming from the start, and her lovely dog made us feel right at home. Maria Grazia explained everything clearly and was very patient, which made the class relaxed and enjoyable. It was really fun to learn about the different pasta shapes and to make them ourselves.
At the end, she cooked our fresh pasta with her homemade ragù, and it was absolutely delicious. It was especially nice to eat something we had made with our own hands. Overall, it was a great and authentic experience that I would definitely recommend.

Lynn & Graham
A great experience the only point we would say as it was a Sunday and the traditional pasta making venue was closed we were taken to a fast food pasta store aka McDonalds pasta and it lost the authentic pasta making we were hoping for, the rest was great 👍🍷

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Often overshadowed by Italy’s more famous cities, Bologna offers a quieter, culture-rich base for exploring the north. As the capital of the Emilia-Romagna region, it’s a top destination for food-focused travelers, and tours often include tasting regional specialties such as prosciutto, Parmigiano Reggiano, and balsamic vinegar. However, Bologna day trips go beyond food, with guided tours to nearby highlights including the Chianti wine region, the Ferrari Museum in Maranello, and historic cities such as Ravenna. With round-trip transportation and local guides included, these tours make it easy to discover the best of Italy’s north in one day.
