This was one of the best things we did during our 4 week trip to Spain, Italy, and Greece. Stephania and Stephania were great teachers and so much fun! Working together and getting to know the other “students” was the best part, and the drinks certainly didn’t hurt any as we made our tagliatelle together! The food, the wine, and the laughs made this a wonderful experience! We can’t wait to make our spritzes and pastas at home.

Great, easy pasta class perfect for your entire family. Pasta cooking along with spritz making. A little dessert, coffee, and aperativo served afterwards. The class moves quick. The two hours goes by even faster!

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy! Both the instructor and her assistant were warm, patient, and made the class so much fun. Everything was hands-on, interactive, and easy to follow.
What made this experience truly unforgettable was how incredibly kind they were to my son, who is on the autism spectrum. They naturally adapted to his needs, made him feel included, and gave him an experience he absolutely loved. As a mother, that meant more than I can express.
Highly recommend this class to anyone visiting Bologna!

Lucia and Jaya were our hosts and instructors. They were very organized, knowledgeable, and patient with our group. We will never buy store bought pasta again. Although we did not make the ragu, they shared the ingredients and plan to send us the recipes.
We loved the company of our classmates from different countries and enjoyed eating our very own homemade pasta.
Highly recommend doing this to anyone visiting Bologna.

The cooking class experience was spectacular. My husband and my son (13 yr old) really loved it too. Claudia and Francesca were extremely hospitable and knowledgeable about their craft. Had a fun experience with Kate and Bea. Both were friendly, courteous and knowledgeable about pasta making... and mixing drinks! Had a good group of people in the 3 hour, 3:00 class. The pasta was really good, as was the bolognese sauce that was prepared beforehand. So happy that after several trips to Italia that my friend and I final took a class, was worthwhile! And we got to take our extra tagliatelle with us to enjoy on our next stop! Thanks to Kate & Bea

Great cooking class. Took us from prep all the way to cooking and eating our creations. All materials provided in a nice environment.

Marina and Stella were both fantastic. We had so much fun learning to make pasta. It was so much easier than expected. The time went by so quickly and the pasta was delicious. They even accommodated a dietary preference. I would highly recommend!!

We had a fantastic time making tagliatelle under tuition of Katrina and Ali. Great fun and the other group members were lovely too. Easy to follow instructions and we were so proud of our achievements which we enjoyed eating. The Ragu supplied was delicious and making Spritz was fun.
Would highly recommend this fun activity in Bologna the food capital of Italy !!! Planning to trying to make at home now

Great setup for our culinary experience..
A glass of Prosecco and introductions set for much conversation. The arrangement of the pasta lesson was perfect; to engage with our fellow travellers. We watched, listened and We asked questions easily; much laughter and enjoyment. The planned breaks to allow our pasta to rest, with how to create a spritz was brilliant, such fun. Thank you for your sharing your expertise. 🥰🥂🍷🥂🍷

This was such a great experience, Kate was our host and she was fab.
The food was amazing, the drinks were great and we had such a good time!
Livier_M, Jun 2026
Our teacher, Kate was wonderful, engaging, instructive, knowledgeable, funny, and helpful. We were greeted with Bologna’s Pignoletto and chunks of mortadella and bread to get us in the right mood. Aprons, rolling pins, wooden boards and stations are provided for all learners. Kate provided a nice overview of what to expect, instructions, and we started to make the dough for the tagliatelle. During a brief wait time for the dough to raise, Sophie, the assistant instructed us on how to make an Aperol spritz (non alcoholic versions are available). We made a portion of tagliatelle, with great instructions. A flavorful meat Ragu was served with the pasta, shredded Parmesan and red wine. Toward the end of the meal, gelato and aged balsamic vinegar was served along with espresso and an herby aperitif. Honestly, our family of four walked away fully satisfied, satiated, with a smile on our faces and a full belly. This class surpassed our expectations.

We made such delicious pasta! We have a new spritz recipe too. Our instructors were helpful and everyone had a good time!
Grace_S, Jun 2026
Fun and informative class. Also learned how to make Aperol Spritz. Enjoyed the Spritz as well as wine, coffee and dessert with the pasta we made.
Response from Host, Aug 2026
Apparently the pasta wasn’t the only thing being mixed during this class... Aperol Spritz, wine, coffee and dessert joined the party too! 🍹😄
We’re thrilled that you enjoyed the class and picked up some new skills along the way. Learning how to make fresh pasta is already a pretty great souvenir, but being able to recreate a proper Spritz at home certainly makes the experience even more useful!
Thanks for cooking, mixing and tasting with us in Bologna. We hope your next homemade pasta night brings back some very happy memories! 🍝
Edmund_B, Jun 2026
Really fun class with excellent hosts Bea and Kate! Definitely going to be making fresh pasta at home now and the Ragu was delicious!
Response from Host, Aug 2026
Bea and Kate clearly managed to turn flour, eggs and ragù into a very convincing reason to keep cooking at home! 😄
We’re thrilled that you enjoyed the class and that the experience inspired you to make fresh pasta yourself. There’s something especially satisfying about sitting down to eat a meal you’ve just made from scratch, particularly when the ragù is involved!
Thanks for cooking with us in Bologna and for the lovely review. We hope your homemade pasta adventures are just getting started! 🍝
Kit_F, Jun 2026
A really great experience! I’ll be recommending it to anyone I know going to Bologna. I learned a lot!
Response from Host, Aug 2026
Learning a lot while having a really great time is exactly the combination we hope for in our cooking classes! 🍝 We’re so pleased you enjoyed the experience and would recommend it to others. Thanks for spending some time in our kitchen, and we hope you get to put those new pasta skills to work again soon! 😊
Helen_D, May 2026
You need to build up your biceps and triceps before taking this class, but you’ll have a lot of fun. The wines and spritzes help. It is actually easy to make pasta, but I will use a machine to do the hard work at home. It’s worth the effort. The instruction was clear and both Kate and Frencesca were very entertaining. And who would have thought to put aged balsamic on gelato?
Response from Host, Aug 2026
Apparently pasta-making is also an unexpected upper-body workout... luckily Bologna has wine and Spritz to help with recovery! 😂
We’re so happy that you enjoyed the class despite giving those arms a proper workout. Kate and Francesca will be delighted to hear that their instructions were clear and their entertainment skills were up to the task, and we’re especially glad you discovered the aged balsamic and gelato combination along the way.
Thanks for rolling, cutting and cooking with us. We hope your next batch of pasta comes with slightly less muscle soreness! 🍨
Sue_F, May 2026
We had a really good time at the pasta making course. It was fun, enjoyable and the food and drink were flowing. They did say we would get the menu sent on an email but we never did!!!
I would recommend as it was very easy to find and a really good afternoon activity. Both hosts were knowledgeable and friendly and the pasta was delicious.
Response from Host, Jun 2026
