I had another amazing experience with Happy Sam as our DMZ tour guide. He brings so much energy, experience, and heart to the tour that it honestly wouldn’t feel the same without him. His storytelling, deep historical knowledge, and ability to connect with everyone in the group made the entire experience unforgettable. You can tell he truly cares about what he does and takes pride in giving people the best possible experience. He kept us engaged the entire time, answered every question thoughtfully, and made the history feel real and personal instead of just another tour stop. Hearing that the company may let him go simply because of his age was honestly heartbreaking. Guides like Happy Sam are rare. His experience, personality, and passion are exactly what make tours meaningful. Anyone taking a DMZ tour would be lucky to have him as their guide. 10/10 experience. highly, highly recommend Happy Sam.

Family-Friendly Tour Full of Fun & History
Our family had such a wonderful experience on this tour! The kids absolutely loved it — especially the suspension bridge, which was both exciting and beautiful with the surrounding nature views. What made the trip even more meaningful was how educational it was. It wasn’t just sightseeing; the tour also gave us the opportunity to learn more about Korean history and the significance of the DMZ in a very engaging way. The guide explained everything clearly and made the experience interesting for both adults and children. The overall tour was smooth, well-organized, and enjoyable from start to finish. Highly recommended for families looking for a mix of adventure, nature, and history all in one trip!

We thoroughly enjoyed the DMZ tour today with Alex. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable. We felt very honored and grateful to learn this part of Korean history and I highly recommend the tour with Alex if you ever have the opportunity. It was easily one of the best moments of our trip. You will not regret it!

Meeting of Comrades
Eddie was truly the highlight of our DMZ tour today, blending deep historical knowledge with a warm, personal touch. As a former Army officer, his professional insight added a layer of authenticity that you simply don’t get with a standard guide. It was a genuine pleasure to witness the immediate bond he formed with my father; their shared experiences in military service sparked a unique connection that spanned borders. Eddie showed immense respect for Papa’s background as a Colonel in the Indian Army, making the day feel less like a tour and more like a meeting of comrades. He handled every question with precision and grace, ensuring the complex history of the Korean peninsula was both accessible and engaging. His ability to bridge cultural gaps through shared values of discipline and service was deeply moving. We were particularly impressed by his storytelling, which brought the silent landscapes of the DMZ to life. Thank you, Eddie, for your kindness, your service, and for making this a core memory for our family. We couldn’t have asked for a better host to navigate such a significant site. He is a stellar representative of his country and a credit to the guiding profession.
