This was a great trip. The company was very prompt which matters when you’re on a cruise ship ! I was nervous because all our tours were private just my husband and I and this one was a large group but it was great. We had Gabriella as our guide and she was awesome and very knowledgeable! Since we went in August it was hot. A little more so than we expected so bring some extra water and wear comfortable shoes. Loved this tour

A little bit of everything and more!

If you want to see a little bit everything, this is the tour for you. It was so good! Salvatore our driver was so careful and prompt and informative as well and Olegsandra, or guide was so informative and easy going, we had so much fun with them. It was a just what we wanted to see everything and have time for Taormina as well. Would highly recommend this tour, there are several surprises in store they have planned as well, I won't spoil the fun, but it was a perfect day.

Greta day off the cruise ship

The perfect excursion from a cruise ship. Easy to book and easy to connect with tour guide. We had an air conditioned van and our group was small which I liked. Cristiano our tour guide was great! He delighted us with the rich history of the area and made sure we enjoyed all the key sights to see! Perfect sized tour with a little of everything!

This was a fun shared tour on a mini bus. Our guide Michael was funny and informative, keeping us interested while the switchbacks took us up up up the hills to beautiful Taormina. Great shopping and food awaited us there. One more stop at Castelmora for almond wine and we were back in Messina. One tip, keep your eyes open for your name on a paper sign being held by the guild. The instructions for finding the group didn't 100% match the reality when you walked off the ship. We found them no problem, you just want to be alert.

Not just a tour - it’s the Sicilian experience!

We had the most wonderful day in Sicily with Alessandro and Marissa, visiting Castelmola, Taormina and Messina. From the very beginning, it was clear that they weren't just there to give us a tour - they wanted to give us a truly memorable experience. We started in beautiful Castelmola, where they took us to what must be the best bar in town. The story behind it is absolutely hilarious - ask Marissa to tell you the story! We had a lovely drink there, tried the original cannoli and, most importantly, had a lot of laughs together. Taormina was another highlight. It is absolutely beautiful, and Marissa brought the history to life with all the stories and details she shared with us. And then, on the way back, Alessandro and Marissa somehow transformed our tour van into a driving karaoke bus! J'& We sang along to some of the most famous Italian songs, which was such a fun and unexpected part of the day. And as if that wasn't enough, they took us for gelato after the tour - the perfect finishing touch to an already perfect day. If you're looking for a day in Sicily that feels personal, fun and full of genuine local experiences, I would 100% recommend Alessandro and Marissa. They have different tours available, so definitely check them out and find the experience that's perfect for you. Thank you both for such a fantastic day - we will remember it for a long time! Don’t miss Taormina and Castelmola!

We LOVED this tour!! Taormina is gorgeous and our guide Corrado was awesome! He gave us just enough info without boring us with facts and history. Plus he took us to the most amazing and oldest cannoli shop in the town! We then headed up to Castelmola which was a spectacular mountain top town and had lunch at a very interesting and very delicious restaurant! It was a fantastic day! I highly recommend this tour!

Wonderful tour with Mariarita

This was a really fun and informative tour led by Mariarita who had a great sense of humor and gave of a lot of tips on foods to try and things to look out for in each port. The communication was excellent as well. We were on a cruise ship and made it to the stops and back to the ship in plenty of time, but do be prepared for a bit of drive to get to the destinations. Thankfully, great AC on the bus, which was especially welcome on a hot summer day.

A great adventure

This was an excellent tour, the tour guide and his wife were excellent. On the way up Mt Etna began smoking. The tour guide was extremely informative. We stopped at a winery where we saw a little movie of how the wine was made many years ago in the 1865. They also had cherries, lemons and other fruits on the farm. We saw a round Rainbow called an Angels rainbow which is very rare. We ate at the only restaurant on Mt Etna. My salad was excellent, but people complained about the food, which was all carbohydrates.

The Perfect Taormina Day

Paria and Alberto were terrific. The tour was beautiful and interesting with just the right balance of guiding and having time on your own. Taormina is beautiful and well worth the trip, especially the Greek theater and views of Mt Etna, Taormina and Ionian Sea. An added bonus of stopping in Castelmola was great, and we sampled the perfect cannoli. We were there in January so crowds were low and weather was cool and breezy. That's our sweet spot for travel. Alberto's kind personality and Paria's bubbly enthusiasm were the icing on the cake.

Private Messina tour from cruise port

This tour was professionally handled in a great manner. From pre trip communication to meeting at the port to the tour and drop off back at port, this was a great experience. Lilllo was early to pick us up ( we were early too as the pick up was right as we disembarked!). He shared historical, cultural and fun information as we went along the tour. Due to weather, the itinerary was adjusted and we visited unexpected places for a fun treat. He gave us choices and ample time to explore Taormina and Castlemola with a view of Isola Bella. He pointed out fun facts and locations about White Lotus and The Godfather. We chose not to go to the beach because of rain. Transportation was totally comfortable and, on the return to Messina, we were treated with REAL gelato and cannoli’s. The church there was spectacular inside. Our group of 7 had a great experience and much thanks to Lillo for taking us around and teaching us about this lovely place.
