Josue was the best food tour guide I've ever had, and I go on a lot of food tours! He knew so much about the local culture and all the best spots to grab a snack. We were all stuffed by the end of the tour, but ate the delicious Churchill treat at the end anyway. We even saw a protected turtle habitat. Highly recommended!

Dustin goes Above and Beyond!!!

Dustin went above and beyond to make this a special trip!!! Dustin knew so much about the wildlife and trees, plants, you name it. Made this hike really something special. That being said, it was a tough hike in spots but he made us feel like we could do it and we did. We are hikers but he even helped us with some areas we were skeptical about. WE MADE IT ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP!!! I’m 57 and my wife is less than that (😆😆) but still in her 50’s and we made it!! Try this hike with Jorge and Dustin and you will feel like you accomplished something truly amazing!!! Once in a lifetime!!!

Best Excursion near Jaco

This was the best experience/excursion we booked during our trip. Not only was the staff easy to converse with with questions from the beginning but they were extremely friendly and helpful through the entire experience. From the moment we stepped on the catamaran until we stepped off the staff made us feel important and took such great care of us. At the island, it was like an all inclusive resort. If you were in the water, they came out and brought you your drinks so you didn’t have to get out. We strongly recommend the snorkeling (the staff threw bread to bring the fish to you), the banana boat was fun also. The food was amazing and there was no shortage of it. All the staff was amazing but our favorite was Ruben (Oman) Jr., talk about excellent service. He was the server of all times and treated every person like Royalty. We didn’t want or need for anything. He was on it. Also the beach was very clean. Plenty of lounges for everyone. We can’t say enough about this experience. It’s worth every penny. Honestly it’s worth more than you pay. Thank you for a great fun filled day.

All the guides were so...

All the guides were so kind and informative. Ziplining was a blast as did 12 ropes, some faster than others. They taught me how to do the spider-man pose which was cool. ATVS were so much fun and took us to beautiful views, 100% worth the rough terrain to get up the mountain. I would say, if this is your first time on an ATV you might want to ride as a passenger cause some terrain can get kinda challenging/scary if you’re new to it. I felt completely safe the entire time and the guide always made sure we were okay. The waterfall was a great refresher after the long hot trail on the ATV. 10/10 experience.

Fun way to spend the day in Jaco!

My family and I had a great time riding ATV's on our first trip to Costa Rica. We spent a few days in Jaco on the beach and scheduled this excursion while we were there. The guides were there promptly for pickup, great at communicating and obviously love their jobs. They also took video of us riding as well as at the waterfall which we purchased at the end of our trip. I emailed a couple times and ended up calling to have the video images sent. It was supposed to take up to a week but took a couple extra. I'm just glad we received them.

Mike and Vinnie Were Terrific!

Odysea did a wonderful job bringing us to and from SJO to Jaco. Mike Rodriguez was exceptional for our first ride. We could not have asked for a more perfect driver to pick us up and introduce us to pura vida. He delighted us with stories and information on the area, made us feel welcome. Vinnie brought us back to the airport and was so kind and provided us with a quiet, smooth ride. He even had a secret place to drop us off to avoid the endless line of cars at the airport. Would ride with Odysea again in a heart beat!

Great experience

We had a wonderful time on our horseback tour. We went through old plantation fields crossed a river and went to the beach. Our Guild was very polite, knowledgeable and helpful. He took pictures for us as we rode. He spotted our first sloth of our trip and seen some monkeys. Overall we had a great time, well worth the money and time.

Best Day Ever!

This day was everything we hoped for and more! Isabella, Micheal, and Captain Marcus were incredible!! She gave us history of islands, we saw monkeys, crocs, and other incredible wildlife on Tortuga! We also hiked the island, the views were breathtaking! Lunch was amazing, we had yellowfin tuna and chicken options and they provided lots of water, pop, and we even had an afternoon coffee and cookies! Don’t hesitate, just book this tour! Pura Vida 💕

Best day ever!

This was such a fun day!! Jesus, Ricardo and Andy took such great care of us and explained things really well. They were patient and a ton of fun. We loved the waterfall and it was beautiful! Zip lining was great and they guide you along the way. ATVs were awesome. We were flying through the property, through mud, rivers, up hills and all over. We saw ATVs at another place and it was pretty lame, just a little course. This was the opposite. They also had two cute dogs that we fell in love with. One didn’t have a name we so named her Puma. Interested to see if it sticks. 10/10

Jungle Birthday Fun

My husband and best friend celebrated my birthday with Dennis driving through the lush mountains and jungles of Costa Rica. Dennis was very accommodating, thoughtful and polite. He was the host with the most and made our experience very memorable. It was a very fun and educational adventure. A must do, even if only for the views and all their glory alone!

Wonderful! Tons of wildlife!

I took my 3 year old on this boat ride by myself and it was absolutely wonderful. We saw over 10 small crocodiles and two large crocodiles, one of them completely out of the water. We also saw a ton of cool birds, including rosette spoonbills. The guide was so kind and they were respectful to the animals. Highly recommend.

Worth the money if you are not snooty.

NOT the same catamaran as the pictures. JP the guide was amazing as well as the captain. I am glad we did not go on an ultra-touristy trip for this excursion. Take aways: 1. Not a gourmet meal provided but great snacks. 2. Bring sunscreen or you will get burnt. 3. Felt personal, like we rented our own (older) catamaran sans working sail. 4. Felt safe and well respected as tourists. 5. Private beach tour 6. Bring your own gear for snorkeling if that is important to you. The provided gear was B grade quality and was difficult to use. 7. worth every damn dime
