My friend and I so enjoyed our guided horseback tour, mainly through groves and on dirt roads by farms, but leading down to the ocean for a brief view. Elaud, our guide hasn’t even been there 2 years but is so calm and knowledgeable, you’d think it was a lifelong career. Can’t sing enough praises for him and his enthusiasm and passion. The horses appear well cared for and loved. Highly recommend this group!

Ride was super great and I have to give credit to our quide Elliott. U want to see sloths? Done. Monkeys? Done. Learn about the flora? Done. He rubbed some leaves together and his hands turned blood red. Teakwood tree. He spots plants and animals like a local which he is. Our horses Turbo and Chapo, well trained.

This experience was a 10 out of 10. The staff was extremely professional and our guide Eliud was An absolute gem! He was so kind and refreshing and made our horseback riding adventure extra special! I definitely recommend.

This was the best horseback riding experience we have ever had! Our tour started at 4pm and it was nice to have just my wife and I do the tour together to feel more intimate. However, this tour would be amazing for groups of all sizes. Eluid was our tour guide and he went above and beyond to take photos and videos so we can enjoy the views and be present. Eluid was truly remarkable he made the tour so memorable with his knowledge and amazing personality I definitely recommend asking him to be your tour guide.

Very fun experience. We purposely chose the 7am time. It was basically a private tour for us and our two kids. Both children (ages 7 and 10) enjoyed the ride. Horses were very well behaved and trained. Our guide was very kind and patient. He took videos and pictures of us during the ride and during our stop at the beach. The ride was very peaceful. Highly recommend!

Had an amazing time on this tour. Our guide was super knowledgeable and clearly very experienced in giving tours. We got to learn a lot about Costa Rican culture and wildlife. We also spotted a sloth and a pair of macaws on our tour. Would definitely recommend this tour.

The staff on this tour was amazing! Such nice people and very skilled! Don’t be afraid if it’s your first time riding a horse. They are committed to safety and they are great teachers and guides.

Great guides, we had two of them, they did a great job accommodating us, taking photos. We saw a sloth! Great ride. Next time I’ll book a private one so I have more time on the beach. You go through the palm forest to get to the beach, and then you return.

Wonderful experience riding on the beach and through palm tree groves! Eliod, our guide, was fantastic. He spoke wonderful English and helped us spot sloths and monkeys on our ride. The horses are very well taken care of and easy to ride. A highlight of our trip!

It was amazing! The guides were very friendly, helpful, fun and the ride was beautiful and fun. The horses are beautiful and wonderful. They know what to do and where to go so you can just enjoy the ride and the views.
The guided brought us to the beach to watch the sunset and while we were there, they gave us bottle water and fresh pineapple and offered to take pictures of our group.
I thoroughly enjoyed the 2 hour ride and thought it was worth every penny. I highly recommend doing this while you are visiting Costa Rica…….you will regret it if you don’t.

This was one of the best rides I have ever done. The guides Tito, Elliot, and Gerardo really take you on a wonderful adventure. You ride thru the woods and end up at the beach in time to catch the sunset. You dismount and they give you ice cold bottled water and fresh pineapple. Then you mount up and they take pictures of you and your group. Truly a memorable experience!

This ride was Amazing, we went early moring, 7am. And it was already very hot. But the ride was fantastic, monkeys swinging over head, beautiful scenery, and a ride on the beach. Everything we wanted it to be. The only drawback worth mentioning, was the fact that the Viator listing said that they offered hotel pick up service, but when I messaged asking what time and telling them where we were staying, they messaged back to say that they do not offer a pick up service. That wasn’t a problem for us as we had a hire car. But could have been a problem for others who don’t.

Great time. Our guide Elliot was terrific and the ride was everything you could hope for. We saw coati and macaws and monkeys. There was even time for a snack. Who knew horses liked pineapple? Thnx Chappo and Elliot! We had a blast! Highly recommend!¹

My teenage daughters, husband, and I had a good time horseback riding at the 4pm time. There were about 15 people/horses and 2 guides/horses at our time slot. No experience necessary and the horses were all very calm. On the way back from the beach to the barn, we rode on a few streets/roads with cars after the sun had set.

The horseback ride was 1.5 hrs and then transported to the zip line. If you have your own car you can drive to the two spots.

The staff were amazing and helped my 78 year old mom on and off the horse. Highly recommend the 4p time for the amazing sunset on the beach. I just wish we had returned the way we came, on the beach and down a lovely dirt road. We returned on the road next to cars for a section, not ideal.

The entire experience was magical. We went on the 4 pm tour and the sunsets were amazing. Our guides we knowledgeable and took care when showing us how to direct the horses. We even saw a sloth!!! Highly recommend this excursion.
