Guide was friendly,...
Guide was friendly, initially we wanted to move to the day after because of the rain and he accommodated us. However, rain stopped and we went with the tour. Our family of 5 was able to get private tour. Not able to see many but got some birds, insects and frogs. Good experience.

Wow!
We had a wonderful experience! Booking was easy, and the shuttles were regular. Tips: get to Centro Visitante a bit early because you need to pay an additional Natl Park entrance fee. We booked with Dennis Fernandez— he was a wonderful guide. He knew so much about the forest, and had a winning personality. Also, a very talented photographer. We enjoyed chatting with him over coffee after the tour. Thank you, Dennis!

Best bird guide in Monteverde
We had Kevin as our tour guide and he was absolutely amazing. I had a list of the top birds I wanted to see and he made sure that we saw every single one!! The top bird on my list was the resplendent Quetzal, which he found for us in the first 10 minutes. I booked with Kevin because I saw others reviews with statements like “Kevin is one with the birds” and “bird whisperer” which were all 100% the truth. We could not have asked for a better guide!
