Wonderful Day of Sightseeing!

Dayro was an excellent guide. He picked us up at the W Costa Rica. His vehicle was spotless. Our day started at the Llanos de Cortez Waterfall. We arrived early so there was virtually no one there, but the site became more crowded as time passed. Dayro brought his own telescope so that we could better see the monkeys in the trees. The sloth and coffee/chocolate tours were right next to each other in Bijagua. Lunch was at El Sabor de Dona Carmen, a five minute ride from the sloths/coffee. Traditional Casado meal. The drive was long, but scenery was beautiful.

Loved Our Tour and Tour Guide

The instructional video before the hike was helpful. The guide was patient and accommodating based on our physical abilities and fears. We were given path options, which we loved, and we enjoyed the hike as well as the waterfalls. We enjoyed the guides knowledge of the foliage and the little stops to explain and show us insects, bats, cultural references, etc. We got more than just a stop to the waterfall and back. It was an experience to be remembered. The lunch/snack is just fresh cut fruit afterwards so come fed. If you can request a tour guide ask for Pablo…he’s amazing, funny and friendly!!

We had an extremely knowledgeable guide Juan Carlos who shared much about Costa Rico’s eco preservation as well as the animals we were seeing in the estuary- crocodiles, hawks, warblers, ibis, etc. Even though it was a hot day, it was very pleasant in the covered open air boat. There was a nice breeze and shaded over hang in the estuary. The cold water and fresh pineapple was an added bonus. Well worth the trip into the mangroves especially if you are looking for different animals.

Fun, safe and convenient!

What a fun day! We booked this excursion because it combined the ATV’s with ziplining, so we did not have to schedule 2 separate tours. We started on the ATV’s after watching a safety video and practicing in an area to ensure we got comfortable driving them. Be sure to take a bandana to cover your nose/mouth or they sell them for $5 each. Then, our guide led us through neighborhoods and trails that got us to the ziplining park. The speed and travel path that our guide used felt very safe. We parked the ATV’s and were then outfitted for ziplining. We had 2 guides who explained everything and ensured we ziplined safely, while making it very fun too. There were 9 ziplines that were over beautiful terrain, and the view from the 1st line was stunning! A photographer joined us and shot pics and videos that you could purchase at the end. We then got back on the ATV’s and drove back to the beginning, but went on a different route. Everyone had a great time and felt very safe throughout the day!

This tour is a must!

What an amazing day spent exploring Costa Rica with Carlos! We had scheduled a nature walk, waterfall hike and tubing down the Rio Celeste. Unfortunately, due to a large storm a few days before we arrived, the roads to get to the waterfall hike were impassable. Carlos quickly pivoted and offered to take us on a coffee and chocolate tour, which we were planning to do later in the week. I was able to cancel the other reservation and the tour he took us on was perfect. The whole day was great, seeing many animals and wildlife, most incredible was a young sloth suspended only about 6 feet off the ground. The river tubing was so much fun and Carlos made extra efforts to get the photos and videos from the tubing guide which we greatly appreciated! Don’t hesitate to book this trip, you won’t regret it!

My ATV experience in Costa Rica was absolutely incredible and one of the highlights of my trip! If you’re planning to do this adventure, there are a few things you should know: do not wear your good shoes — you will get muddy! The mud, rocky roads, and off-road trails are all part of what makes the experience so much fun, so come prepared to get a little dirty. The adventure takes you through some of the most beautiful landscapes Costa Rica has to offer, including breathtaking beaches and scenic trails. Along the way, we even spotted wildlife, including monkeys, which made the experience even more memorable. You’ll ride through a mix of terrain — from rocky paths to muddy roads — making it exciting the entire way. The instructors were outstanding! They were professional, patient, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and confident before heading out. They took the time to match each person with a vehicle that was easy to handle and suited their comfort level. Throughout the ride, they were attentive, making sure everyone was safe, aware of the conditions, and having a great time. This was more than just an ATV ride — it was an adventure that allowed us to experience the beauty and nature of Costa Rica up close. Excellent charter experience. The crew are fun and welcoming. The owner ( a bit of trivia… ask him what episode of House Hunter International did he and his wife star in!) was kind and excited for his new adventure and business! When we saw the dolphins the crew stopped the boat so we could swim alongside of them. They went above and beyond to ensure an enjoyable trip. The boat itinerary was fun and amazing. We saw dolphins, fish, starfish, rays, beautiful water, and enjoyed a well prepared lunch, then on to sunset !

The best experience!!

My husband and I had such a great time! The guides were very sweet and made us feel very safe! I’m terrified of heights and I had a blast! We went during the dry season so the trees were not green (so no monkeys while on the zipline). It was still very beautiful being on the mountain, just bring sunscreen!!

Incredible sunset from the water

Wonderful catamaran cruise and great snorkeling! The boat was big and even though there were a number of people on the cruise, it didn't feel crowded. The snorkeling was fantastic and we got to see a lot fish! The sunset was absolutely stunning! Definitely worth the money and a great experience.

Adventurous gorgeous river trip!

This is our 2nd time taking this trip (first time in low water season, now in high) and it was absolutely incredible. Our guide, Luis, was fabulous- a total pro who made us comfortable (even our nervous kiddo) and navigated us through some huge rapids with ease! It’s absolutely beautiful jungle and the rapids are super fun. Will do again!
