A day well spent!

Our Lake Louise and Moraine Lake tour was one of the highlights of our trip! Our guide, Lisa, was outstanding from start to finish. She kept us informed throughout the day and clearly explained the itinerary, including the adjustments that had to be made because of the Canada Day (July 1) celebrations. Lisa was incredibly organized, efficient, and knowledgeable. She knew exactly how to adapt the schedule to avoid the biggest crowds, which made our experience much more enjoyable. We spent more time taking in the breathtaking scenery instead of waiting in long lines. Everything was well planned, stress-free, and ran smoothly. It was truly a day well spent, and I highly recommend this tour—especially if you’re lucky enough to have Lisa as your guide!

Amazing! Our tour guide Aisla was very informative and lots of fun

Very few bathroom trips. No bathrooms at a lot of the places. Does a bear poop in the woods ? Yes but I don’t. We got to the lake and the bathroom was closed and I had to beg them to let me in. They said they had a flood but all I saw was a plumber fixing a tap. The lakes were absolutely stunning. I don’t think there’s enough time in between each place. I would have liked to spend more time at the lakes and less time for lunch in Banff

Our experience was phenomenal, thanks for Kenji and Bella. We did a lot of similar tours and Kenji was one of the best guide ever!! He was very knowledgeable, engaging to every one in the tour including the kids. He was fun and respectful. I wish every tour guide was like him, funny and friendly. Very fun tour with a humorous tour guide

We went on the bus on June 24 at 8:25am in downtown of Banff with the experienced and humorous tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and told us all about the mountains and lakes histories. Very great memories with the tour. And it was much cheaper than the same tour at other companies. Very on time. Don’t forget to take with you water bottles and some snacks as we were done the tour around 2:30pm. Very hungry. You also can get some snacks and coffee at Moraine Lake but so expensive and long wait, we got one piece of banana sandwich, a small bottle of water, and a small hotdog at 23$. Otherwise everything is perfecr and worth the money. We also tip the tour guide when he dropped us back in downtown. He deserved it.

Great tour! The time at each stop was short but totally understandable due to the driving distance between stops and the distance from the pickup spot. Such a great way to see the major Banff tourist spots like Lake Louise and Emerald Lake without having to worry about waking up at the crack of dawn to get parking!! Our guide was knowledgeable about the area and was happy to answer questions.

Be aware that Viator is a...

Be aware that Viator is a booking service and NOT the actual van/bus that will drive you to the lake. The actual bus that picked us up was not luxury as described in the ad, but rather a school bus with more comfortable seats. Driver was great! Friendly, gave good instructions and info. Ride was good and scenery was outstanding! Price was a little too much given it was an old school bus. Instructions from Viator were not clear and we kept having to ask all the different bus drivers if that was our bus. They should send u the name of the actual bus service. But overall a good experience.

Stress-Free Way to See Banff’s Highlights

We had an excellent experience on the 8-stop Banff tour and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. It was by far the easiest way to see all of Banff’s must-see sights without having to worry about parking, shuttle reservations, navigating traffic, or dealing with crowds. The direct hotel pickup was incredibly convenient, and the van was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Our guide, Jack, was fantastic. He was a kind, personable young Aussie who kept the group laughing and made everyone feel welcome throughout the day. He was an excellent driver and shared interesting information without making it feel like a scripted tour. The weather forecast called for a gloomy day, but somehow Jack even managed to “will” the sun to come out, and we ended up with beautiful views for much of the trip. If you’re short on time or simply want a relaxing way to experience Banff’s highlights, this tour is well worth it. We saw so much in one day and never had to think about the logistics. We could simply enjoy the scenery.

Practical way to see popular sites in and around Banff.

This was a great headache-free way to see some of the most popular nearby lakes. The main reason we did this and not drive there was because of the known parking difficulties and cost to park. We went in mid to late June and it is already pretty crowded at that point. Bow Falls was a bonus sight to see that we knew nothing about prior to coming. However our lunch of an hour and 15 minutes was spent in Banff but we were staying in Banff so for us it wasn't a bonus--but would be if you were staying in Canmore or somewhere outside of Banff. Still, Mark and the tour served our needs.

Sweet Caroline!!!

It was a fantastic experience!!! Our driver/guide Caroline was super amazing!! She was on time, very friendly, knows very well the area and she drove us safely to our destination the splendid jaw-dropping Moraine lake & lake Louise. Caroline is not only a driver but also an amazing photographer and a guide where she really took her time to walk me and my family to the beautiful spot and also she is a fantastic photographer she took beautiful pictures. And ohh! Caroline also gave sweets & water which really good for passengers. I highly recommend Caroline and will definitely book again Viator in my future tours and will recommend this to my friends. One more thing I also give credits to the Viator app and the communication/support because they reply so fast and easy to talk to. Banff Gondola is a must-do!

Loved this experience. Getting people on and off the Banff Gondola is a well-oiled operation. The gondola cars themselves are small--only 4 to a car so keep that in mind if you are claustrophobic and are afraid of heights. Also if you order your tickets in advance like we did, you can use those tickets to get you to the Gondola base free of charge using the town's bus system, the No. 1 to Sulphur Mountain. On arrival take the boardwalk hike to the neighboring peak and take in the views. Be sure to bring some extra layers because it can be much colder there and go slow on your walk if you just arrived in Banff and are adjusting to higher elevation.
