Amazing Experience!

Our tour guide, Steven was great! He checked in the day prior, was on time the next day. Safe driver and went at our pace. Every stop was truly special. We visited during the Autumn New Moon festival so every place was PACKED. But we made the most of it. The last city (Jiufren), although a bit strenuous was worth all the stairs. The sunset view is breathtaking.

From the very beginning, Hicks Wang was incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. He made our entire day feel effortless and enjoyable. One of the biggest challenges for us was finding food because we are vegan, but he went above and beyond to help us find suitable vegan options and made sure we were able to enjoy local foods without having to worry. He was also amazing at taking photos! He knew all the best spots and angles for photos and patiently helped us capture beautiful memories throughout the day. We got some of our favorite travel photos thanks to him. He even surprised us by buying us local fruit to try, which was such a thoughtful and personal touch. It really showed how much he cared about making sure we had a great experience. He was knowledgeable, warm, flexible, and genuinely fun to spend the day with. We simply could not have been happier!

Will worked with us so closely that we got exactly what we wanted to out of our few hours in Taipei! Our ship was leaving at 3pm, so Will made sure we got back by 2:35 so we didn’t worry a bit! Will was due to arrive at 9am. We arrived at the dock at 8:30am, Will was there early, so out trip began 30 minutes early so we were able to squeeze in even more! We had chosen 3 tiers of locations that we wanted to see which was based on many items on our ships excursions. We ended up getting more out of our trip than any one of the ship excursions, at a cost of less than the ship excursion. We LOVED the sky lanterns! Will helped us choose his favorite vendor, who videotaped the lantern and us for free on our phone. We loved the lantern stair step village of Juifen, even on our rainy day. Don’t miss it! Will knows a stop that misses half of the stairs, which was very helpful! The Chiang Kai Shek memorial square is extremely memorable. Don’t miss the souvenir shop below the memorial. Loved seeing the Presidential Palace and 101Taipei Tower. Great, comfortable vehicle. A wonderful value for your money; don’t miss Will!
