Taipei 101 was amazing! But we could have bought tickets there ourselves at the counter. We did not have a tour guide to explain to us from Viator.

Well worth a visit to the top. The view is breathtaking but the best is being in one of the fastest elevators in the world.
You marvel at the brilliance of Taiwanese people.
It’s was worth skipping the queue.

In order to activate your ticket, you go to the reservation desk and show them a QR code that you got in your confirmation email. I don't know why but that QR code was nearly impossible to open. I tried opening the ticket in the app, from the email, from safari on my phone and nothing would work. I finally got it to work through chrome on my phone, but it took over 10 minutes.
After you get the QR code everything is easy and straightforward. You get to skip the long line. I had booked our tickets for a different day, but had lunch at Din Tai Fung in the basement of 101 so figured I'd try to use them. They were very easy with rescheduling and letting me use my ticket earlier than booked. Our tickets took us to the main observatory, 89th floor. I think you can pay more to go to the 101 floor, but I didn't bother.
Tickets at 101 cost NT$600 so this was about equivalent.

I follow all the instructions and when I try the QR code to collect my ticket didn’t work showing an error and I had to buy a ticket from the counter

This was a fast-pass ticket to the observatory, which has great views of the entire city. It was good that I could use the pass on any date within a year, which turned out to be necessary since it was raining frequently when I was in Taipei so I could choose to go when the skies had cleared a bit. Another thing to keep in mind is that during low tourist season you probably don't need a fast pass and all and the regular (cheaper) entry would be fine. When I went in October there was hardly anyone there, so it wasn't that necessary. In higher peak times it would probably be good through.

When I tried to get the Viator barcode changed to the entrance tickets at the 101 Taipei counter, they wouldn’t take the barcode that Viator provided. They said it’s not valid. I had to purchase a whole new ticket at the location. So highly suggest going through Taipei’s online ticketing system to purchase the tickets instead if going through Viator or another 3rd party !

Staff were extremely helpful and caring. The elevator ride was part of the experience. The views are amazing. Very nice photo opportunities.

Purchased our tickets in advance for a day shore excursion on our own. Friendly staff greeted us and helped us with our priority access. Lift up was interesting and we enjoyed the venue and seasonal decorations. It was a rainy day but we could still make out some of the viewpoints around us. Nice gift shop up top and down below where we bought a few nice items. Enjoyed the shopping at the attached mall:

We followed all the instructions carefully, but the barcode provided in the Viator voucher never worked. When we tried to redeem our ticket, the machine wouldn’t read the barcode and kept asking for a QR code instead.
I contacted Viator’s customer service immediately, but they couldn’t provide the correct QR code or offer any real-time solution. Basically, Viator gave us a non-working—or possibly fake—voucher. Talk about inconvenience when you’re expecting convenience by securing tickets in advance!
Their customer service told me they would contact the operator and issue a refund within 24–72 hours. Since I can’t rely solely on their word, I made sure the phone conversation was recorded.
In the end, we had to buy new tickets on the spot directly from Tapei 101.

We got the priority passes. We were able to jump the line and were first on the elevator with these.

Great experiences to visit Taipei 101. It is inside the nice shopping mall, with a big food court with a lot of varieties to try.

Great view of the city. Pass allowed us to skip the lines which was great. Overall great experience and worth the time

The Taipei 101 Observatory Deck was fantastic! The priority pass made a huge difference for our group of 10, helping us bypass long lines and making the whole experience smooth. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and we enjoyed the informative site descriptions and engaging narratives throughout the observatory. The decor was elegant, and the shops added a fun touch to the visit. We spent a couple of hours taking it all in and easily could have stayed longer. Highly recommend this experience!

Pick a clear day if possible, we had very limited visibility but it was still a great experience, try to get there early to get a good time slot

Easy access to the building, very fast lift, breathtaking views from the top. Overall well worth it.

Great views of Taipei and good value ticket price. No problems at the ticket desk with regular lift service up and down. A must-do when visiting Seoul.

Scam.
The price is displayed in Hong Kong dollars while we are physically in Taiwan and we pay in Taiwan dollars (or euros at the limit). So when you’ve just arrived, you don’t yet know the currency and everything, you think you’ll find a good deal and in the end you won’t. I contacted the Service within one minute who contacted the claimant and only replied the next day that the refund was not possible. As it was a ticket to date I waited all day until the last minute for a refund confirmation that never arrived, so I preferred to go than foolishly lose this money. So we pay 17 euros to go up to the 89th floor. At night, hoping the view is better but not... The accessible half-floor is glazed and it ultimately looks more like an amusement park for capricious children than a tourist attraction and life is not transcendent. We hope that by going upstairs it will be better. And no, it is worse, on the whole floor we have access to 10 meters, the view is useless because the guardrails 3 meters high by 10 cm thick with 5 cm interval deprives us of any photo.
To avoid, both the reservation platform and this activity
