Another side of Thailand

This day outside of Bangkok's hustle and bustle was well organized, of high value and very enjoyable. My wife and I appreciated the old time train ride through the countryside and its ending in the very unique train market. The long and winding boat ride through the floating market was even better. We can see why this setting was used by a James Bond movie! Do yourself a favor and book this tour.

This tour packs a big punch for 1/2-day tour to the temples. If you are short on time in Bangkok this is the tour for you. Nina out tour guide was exceptional, full of information and kept the pace according to your ability. You see all the top temples and even a fun Tuk Tuk ride, she will help with shopping needs and the stop for refreshing Thai Tea (iced cold) is a treat for sure. She provides the transport from location to location, a/c van to ferry to keep the tour moving. Also, she is brilliant at taking those coveted photos we all want to show our friends back home. A very kind and welcoming person greeted me as I stepped off the plane. We walked together to immigration, where an officer checked my passport and spoke to me with genuine warmth. You get to see a part of Bangkok that is somewhat hidden. It’s a little like Venice. You are given time to walk around the shops along a part of the canal. Delicious mango and sticky rice. The guide named Joe gave us history of the things you see when you are riding the canals. Bottled water is given out. You are required to wear the provided life vest.

The tour offered a welcome and interesting mixture of history, culture, and food tasting. The foods sampled were from a variety of locations--not just Chinatown-- which added to the appeal. While the main transportation was via tuk-tuk, there was some walking involved, allowing us to access areas (like the flower market, temple, and Chinatown street scene) more intimately than a mere drive-by. Our guide was gracious and knowledgeable and our driver kindly dropped us off at the train station after our tour. We greatly enjoyed our experience and felt it was the perfect end to our Thailand travels.

Amazing Tour

This was a great way to see many of the highlights in Bangkok in the easiest and most comfortable way to do it in a short time. Our private guide and driver were waiting in the lobby of our hotel and greeted as we as we came down. Our guide explained our day and what we could expect and then we were off on a spectacular day of sightseeing! It’s a full 8 hours so be prepared for a long day. Water is provided and you can take breaks as you need them.

Great entertainment. The singers and actors were top notch! Good food.. There were so many different options. Everything tasted fresh. Even the wait staff were amazing. Always rrady to help take something away or to serve. We even got back in just enough time to watch the fountain show at IconSiam! We had a blast!
