Must do!

This is an absolute must-do in Taipei! We saw so much on this tour. Our driver and guide, Vincent, was brilliant! There was absolutely nothing that he didn't think of to make us comfortable - water, umbrellas, holding our bags so that we could take photos, finding a coffee shop for our lunch, phone charger in the car, and taking us to extra places because we chose not to do the Elephant Mountain hike. Vincent's care and attention, and expert knowledge of the local area, made this a truly memorable experience. Thank you, Vincent - we are very glad that you were our tour guide!

Great experience!

It was really fun! I definitely recommend it. Our tour guide, Chiara, was really informative and fun. She was so sweet and helpful. Our favorite part was the waterfall. Just make sure to wear sunscreen because there is some walking. The lantern part was okay. As cute and fun as it was, it was not environmentally friendly. We saw lots of the discarded lanterns up in the trees and the nature area. It’s a cute idea though.

Perfect Day trip if you have only a short time to explore Taiwan

Wonderful day traveling to the Geopark, coastline, waterfalls and cool little old town, Shiflen - all not too far from Taipei! We also painted a lantern to release into the air- so fun! Our guide, Jacky was awesome!! He was very knowledgeable about the history of the places we visited, and knew all of the great places to pose for pictures! The car was very comfortable and he had it stocked with water bottles. Bring cash for the little towns, the museum gift shops take credit cards. You may want to use an umbrella as you walk around - the sun was intense! Ask for Jacky - you won’t be disappointed!

Great tour

This was a private tour, actually I was the only one in the tour. Caleb was my tour guide and he was awesome. Very knowledgeable about sites, history and everything in-between. Taroko gorge is amazing and we visited as much as was possible given the construction repairs after the earthquake (about 3 years ago). I highly recommend it!

A great way to explore Taiwan

A wonderful way to explore Taiwan outside of Taipei. Alan was the best guide you could ask for. He was extremely funny and had great recommendations and fun facts about everywhere we went. The hotels were comfortable and some of them had hot springs available, which was a big bonus.
