Great (and yummy!) experience
I loved this! Pierre waa my guide, and he was very friendly and informative. I happened to be the only person on my tour, so I was sent home with LOTS of goodies. It was really interesting to learn about the differences in baguettes and the history behind them. The financiers were also delicious, particularly straight out of the oven.

Traditional French baking at its best
Fantastic opportunity to be inside of a fully operational Bakery Greeted with a coffee and some delicious pastries and of course croissants Be aware if you’re mobility is a problem the narrow spiral stairs to the lower level could be a challenge The class is for everyone and we made some fanciers cakes including making a brown butter on the hot plate for the mixture And of course we ate the results straight out of the oven (so good) Made and baked a traditional baguette as well as some round rolls We took all our baking home and enjoyed them throughout the day The baker was great and very good and patient and we worked through everything at a comfortable pace So happy to have had the chance to do this

Fantastic experience preparing a wonderful French meal
This cooking class, being longer than other 2-hour experiences, requires a time commitment. But for us, it was great. We went to the market and learned about how the local butcher is different than what we are used to. We also spent a good amount of time with the cheese monger booth, sampling different cheeses. Then we started preparing our meal with people volunteering for cutting vegetables, peeling and boiling the pears, preparing the meat, peeling and slicing potatoes, etc. The meat prep in particular was very enlightening to learn how to separate and remove the silver layer without losing a lot of meat. Plus, we had never heard of beef cheeks before. Certain things the chef did, such as preparing the ice cream. The beef was cooked in a stove-top pressure cooker. He was very knowledgeable and easy to understand as well as welcoming questions. Then all 12 of us plus the chef sat down at one big table to enjoy our meal. Definitely a great memory with a lot of learnings we will use in the future. It was a little pricey, but we would do it again in a heartbeat.

Delicious Food - Don't Miss Market Tour and Cooking Class
Wow! Thoroughly enjoyed the market tour, the cooking (and you do the cooking) as well as all the tips and "Frech-isms" during the evening. Frederic was an outstanding host, chef, instructor and tour guide. Our meal was magnificent and overall doable at home as well. Highly recommend!
