What are people saying about Montreal

Very enjoyable tour!
Our guide Sandy was an energetic and gregarious leader who took our small group through the streets of Old Montreal to experience everything from maple syrup, Greek food, Poutine to ice cream and much more. All along the way she connected food to the history of the city as well as discussed important landmarks. She remarkably remembered everyone’s name and was adept at getting us all to interact with one another over a meal. It was informative, fun and delicious. Definitely a worthwhile experience.

Knowledgeable Francois
This was a great small-group tour for an overview of Old Montreal. I wish we had had time to revisit and enter some of the locations Francois introduced us to. Our group of 10 worked our way thru Old Montreal. Francois answered all questions, and was engaging with his commentary. He took us from the time/place of Montreal’s founding to its development as a 19th Century financial center. A lot of great architecture.

GREAT old town tour!
GREAT walking tour of Old Town. I’m sure they have lots of great guides, but Pierre was beyond outstanding. He took lots of time to explain history through modern life. Very knowledgeable about architecture and history. Also sprinkled in lots of recommendations to come back to, including pointing out great restaurants and other points of interest. Have had guides in cities all over the world, and he clearly rates of the top few.

A guided walking tour of Montreal
Renee was a great guide and very passionate about his city of Montreal. We had a great time, Renee was very informative and professional. He gave us great ideas on where to eat and recommended that we see the aura experience in Norte Dame, which we did. Thank you Renee

Often compared to European cities, Montreal boasts a rich history and lots of urban charm, especially in the Old Montreal neighborhood, with highlights such as the Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal and Bonsecours Market. Montreal tours provide a key to understanding the city's past and present. For an immersive experience, try baking bagels, learning the sport of curling, and exploring the city's food scene on foot. Or, use Montreal as a base for tours to nearby highlights such as Quebec City, Montmorency Falls, Toronto, and Niagara Falls.
