What are people saying about Montreal

Excellent tour!
We had such a great time! We travel to Montreal at least twice a year and yet still learned so much! The tour guide, David, was very knowledgeable and had a very pleasant demeanour. We got to see different parts of Old Montreal, learned about its founding and history, saw different architecture, and got a peek at the underground path, and ended near Chateau Ramezay. We were lucky to catch the World Press Photo exhibit on its last night. I really recommend this tour, regardless of whether you are in Montreal for the first or hundredth time!

The best walking tour
My mom and I came to Montreal for a few days of vacation and decided to begin our adventure with a walking tour of Old Montreal. So glad we booked with MTL Detours. Everything about the experience was perfect and Louise was a wonderful guide. We especially loved being in such a small group. Highly recommend this tour!

Just book it!
Rene was absolutely amazing! He was so kind, funny and really took the time to make sure everyone on the tour was enjoying the experience! This was such a great way to get to know the city and we are so happy we did it! It’s definitely a must book for sure!

An Unforgettable Ride on the St. Lawrence River!
We had so much fun on the Ultimate Boat Ride in Montreal! The views were amazing, and the ride itself was such a unique experience. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. If you’re visiting Montreal and want to do something fun, I’d definitely recommend it!

Often compared to European cities, Montreal boasts a rich history and lots of urban charm, especially in the Old Montreal neighborhood, with highlights such as the Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal and Bonsecours Market. Montreal tours provide a key to understanding the city's past and present. For an immersive experience, try baking bagels, learning the sport of curling, and exploring the city's food scene on foot. Or, use Montreal as a base for tours to nearby highlights such as Quebec City, Montmorency Falls, Toronto, and Niagara Falls.
