Amazing experience - def recommend even if you’ve already been to lisbon

So, I’ve done at least a dozen Viator tours - mostly history/walking/food combos - but this sunset sail was absolutely epic. Would definitely do again if I visited Lisbon again (this was my 3rd time) whereas I always enjoy the food tours but would prob not repeat in the same city - so just saying it was that enjoyable. Obv weather is key (it was HOT all week and I was comfortable the entire ride once we were on open water and ever so slightly chilly (finally!) by the time we docked at the end).

A Fun Day in Lisbon

We’ve used Viator in many cities both in the U.S. and abroad and have never been disappointed. They are a reputable company, responsive and helpful. We had the very best experience with our tour guide and Tuk Tuk driver, Javi!!! He is knowledgeable, interesting, fun, entertaining , sincere, friendly and caring. Recently having knee surgery, he was attentive, understanding and concerned about how the road surfaces would affect my knee. Javi was cautious and careful with his driving, which we greatly appreciated!! If we had extended time in Lisbon, my husband and I would have been happy to share a beer and good meal with our new friend!! We learned a lot from Javi and can’t say enough good things about him. Thank you, Javi, for a memorable and perfect day in Lisbon!

Sintra by Mercedes and professionalism.

This is a full day of experiences. A lot of walking but it is worth every step and every cent spent. Our driver arrived on time to pick us up from our accommodation in the trademark black Mercedes. The driver was courteous Professional and knowledgeable. He dealt with each individual passenger as if they were the only ones there but still focus on a group environment. He had that touch to make you feel welcome. Our main sight seeing was Sintra and surrounding areas, castles and monuments. Each one was explained in detail with a not over the top but clear explanation of each. But was also willing to go into detail if requested or needed. It was a full history lesson on a relaxed level. I could not recommend this highly enough. We had a chance to have lunch with the group and relax and have a chat and get to know each other which is not everyone’s thing but again it was personable and very accepted by all. At the end of the day we are on holidays and looking for knowledge on a new place. The driver was a local and the city like the back of his hand, which is exactly what you want to pay for. Do yourself a favour, don’t go anywhere else, book these guys.

Felipe had so much knowledge and enthusiasm about Portugueses wine, food, and Lisbon! He truly aimed for everyone to have a fun experience. We tasted many wines. If you are expecting a meal then you may be disappointed but there were several snacks. He was so kind when I lost my glasses about contacting the restaurant and me. I definitely recommend his tour!

We were delayed an hour with plane disembarkation and positioning along with customs and immigration but our driver was waiting for us at the transfer point. What a relief and he was even nice enough to wait while we exchanged money. Very professional and patient.

Great Lisbon Tour led by Ricardo…THE BEST!

It was the BEST group tour I have ever experienced… probably because Ricardo, our guide, was simply the best. He was so knowledgeable about everything Lisbon. He had the best personality you could ask for. By the end of the tour, we truly felt like a family which he frequently called us. I wish Ricardo was our private guide for our entire stay in Lisbon…. The tour was a quick snapshot of some of the most important monuments and landmarks around Lisbon. Tomas was an incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. He juggled between Portuguese and English which would be very difficult. My kid loved his energy and enthusiasm. Get your cameras out for the transition into the water. Would have liked a bit more warning so we could get it in film.
