A Great Tuscany Outing.
Viator is first class all the way. This is not our first or second trip with Viator, and we go back to them because of their commitment to excellence and the expertise of their guides. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip through Tuscany despite a few hours of rain. We look forward to our next Viator adventure.

Excellent tour of the...
Excellent tour of the Colosseum and Roman Forum! Our guide was Nuncia and she was easy to understand and engaging. I appreciated the tour as a first time visitor in that it hit all the highlights, let us skip long lines, and did provide extra information to put what we were seeing into context. However there was a lot more to the colosseum and Roman forum that we did not cover on the tour. Nuncia gave us the option to leave the tour early to stay and explore the colosseum longer (and then do the Roman forum ourselves without a guide). We opted to stay with the group and I don't regret it - but could have easily spent more time in the colosseum (there was a little museum about the construction and the Troys that we just passed through). The Roman forum was HUGE and we only talked about a few buildings as a group. The tour ended in the forum so we could explore the rest of it on our own (but you couldnt go back to the colosseum).

Vatican City
Our guide, Francesca, was very knowledgeable and did a wonderful job of explaining the history. There are up to 27,000 people visiting Vatican City each day, so be prepared to wait and be jostled. Do wear your most comfortable shoes because you will be walking a lot.

Great Acropolis Walking Tour
We had a great time at the Acropolis. It was rainy, but our guide (I believe her name was Julia), did a wonderful job of making light of the weather and reminding everyone to be careful. She was very well spoken, and actually mentioned she has studied archeology, so she gave us a lot of good information! We would book this tour again!

There’s so much to do and see when you visit Europe, and a tour is a great way to learn about a new city from an expert guide. These Europe tours offer everything from small-group food tours that teach you about a new culture while sampling its local foods, to Christmas market tours where you can meet local craftspeople and see cities sparkle under twinkling lights. If you are visiting during busy summer months, skip-the-line tours are a great way to see historical sights like the Colosseum, the Eiffel Tower, and the Vatican without braving the notorious crowds.
