What are people saying about Charleston

Boone Hall
The history behind this old working plantation is really interesting. There are a lot of southern plantations that may be more beautiful, but the families and businesses operated here make this plantation different. Good to know it is in a trust for future generations!

USS YORKTOWN: Best in history
Fort Sumter tour was canceled earlier that day. I wasn't sure how to fill the time in. My children saw thw the USS YORKTOWN and wanted to see it. Theyhad such a good time. My children were so intrigued with the history, but also to walk on an actual ship. They loved the planes on the carrier. So much to see on the ship. We were there for 3 hours. We could've stayed another hour easily with all the information they displayed. Definitely worth the price.

Well worth it!
Great tour! Evans was an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable and entertaining. Only (very) slight drawback was that if you weren't a student of US history, some of the detailed historical narrative could be a bit difficult to follow/process. But it didn't detract from the overall experience.

Halloween night history lesson!
Brandon was very passionate and knowledgable about his city and not only the stops but catered to the groups questions. The small group is the way to go! Next morning our family is still talking about the different historical significant facts we learned. Fantastic.

Charleston tours introduce visitors to the city’s two biggest draws: its heritage and its harbor. Take in the city highlights with a vintage horse-and-carriage ride, go modern with a tour bus, or slow things down with an expert-led walking itinerary. Alternatively, pair culture with cuisine on a historic district food tour. Once the sun sets, the city’s haunted history comes to the fore with ghost tours and spooky pub crawls. Pair your explorations on land with a harbor excursion, whether it’s a ferry to Fort Sumner or a harbor cruise for daytime sightseeing, sunset drinks and dinner, and wildlife spotting.
