Itineraries for Your Trip to Los Cabos
2 Days in Los Cabos for First Timers
When I first visited Los Cabos with my son, we knew we would have beach days in our future. What we didn't anticipate was the number of activities we could do nearby, from ziplining to horseback rides to sunset sails.
When you have two days in Los Cabos, you'll want to explore the food scenes in Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo. A taco tour is always a good idea, as you'll find out about interesting spots that the locals love. A visit to Flora Farms should be on the agenda, as this spot takes farm-to-table cuisine to a whole new level. Here's how to make the most of your two days in Los Cabos.
If you only have time for one thing, make it a taco tour.
Los Cabos has a hot and dry climate year-round, with very little rain.
If you are up for some active adventures, Cabo is ready to deliver. The morning is a great time to do this (before the heat of the day takes over). Head out on a beach horseback ride, go ziplining, ride across the sand in ATVs, or learn new surfing skills. There will be plenty of opportunities for laying out on the sand when the fun is over.
Cabo's taco scene is vast, whether you want traditional carne asada or Baja-style fish tacos. The best way to experience this food scene is on a taco tour. The tours include multiple stops to explore different taco styles and flavors, and most include a stop at a shop for paletas at the end.

Spend your evening hours taking in the views of Cabo's coastline on a sunset cruise. You can find lots of different options, from family-friendly sailings to party boat options. Most will take you out to the Arch of Cabo San Lucas to see it with the sun setting in the distance.
Up the adventure for the afternoon and head to Wild Canyon Adventures, where you can choose from ATV rides, ziplining, camel rides, and more. The ziplines are not for the faint of heart; you'll be traversing massive canyons and hiking as well. Don't miss a walk across the hanging bridge.
Head over to San Jose del Cabo for the evening, just over 30 minutes from Cabo San Lucas. This town has plenty to see, from the mission to the estuary and bird sanctuary. San Jose del Cabo is known for its top-notch restaurants, including Flora Farms, where you can tour the gardens and eat wood-fired pizza.
