Great day in Braga and Guimaraes

We had such a great day seeing Guimaraes and Braga. Both cities were very interesting and beautiful. After coming from a few days in Porto it was nice not having such steep inclines to walk. Ricardo was our guide and he was very knowledgeable, informative and patient as we tend to wonder off a bit. He has a good sense of humor and is very personable. We learned a lot about Portugal and got a good history base to build on.

Ricardo and his amazing tour

We truly enjoyed Guimaraes and Braga tour. Ricardo picked us up from our hotel. He was the only tour operator who did that. He asked me about my kids eating schedule and took us to Guimaraes first so it best suited our kids lunch time. He was able to cover all the landmarks and knew both places well. Towards the end he was kind enough to drop us at our hotel also which made things very convenient. Ricardo comes highly recommended.

Anyone who loves visiting Portugal MUST visit Guimaraes to know how Portugal came to be. Our guide Ricardo was very pleasant, wonderful and gave very detailed history of this region and made a very pleasant walking itinerary to see all the highlights. History, views and good food

Our tour guide was a rockstar, super knowledgeable and shared a lot of information in every stop and on the way. Great tour to get a sense of Portugal's history with good views from important locations. Lunch was really good, not your usual fast food or sandwich in a bag but a sit down restaurant with good options. Great for fist timers in Porto as it makes it really easy to visit these places.
