- Booster Seats: For state law, Children under the age of 6 require a booster seat in order to participate in the tour group. Please understand that the violations and fines are borne by the guests themselves. There is no need for a booster seat for bus travel on the day of travel.
- Leaving the Group: If leaving the group early, inform the tour guide and sign a departure form. No refunds for unused portions.
- Gifts and Refunds: Gifts provided during the tour may change due to unforeseen factors like weather. Fees will not be refunded for changes.
- The price in the system is US dollars including tax. If you need to pay in CAD dollars, all CAD dollar prices do not include 5% GST.
- Booking Details: Ensure all booking details (name, contact, flight info) are accurate. Errors will result in personal costs.
- Itinerary Changes:Tour operator reserves the right to adjust the itinerary for smooth operations.
- Health Requirements: Guests with disabilities must provide advance notice. Wheelchair-accessible buses are not guaranteed without prior approval.
- Tour Adjustments:The tour guide may alter schedules based on weather, traffic, or other conditions.
- Terms and Conditions: Terms and conditions may change—check the product website for updates.
- When Butchart Gardens is closed (January 19 – February 1, 2026), the itinerary will be adjusted to visit Victoria Butterfly Gardens for a 90-minute experience.
- Closed Attractions: If a scenic spot is closed, an alternative will be provided.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 55 travelers

This smaller tour with only nine travelers was much more personable. Also, gave more time to converse and ask questions to the tour guide. Bye the way, our tour guide, Joe Yang, was excellrnt.

This was a lovely trip to Victoria. Joe who was our driver/guide was geat. Very knowledgeable about the history of BC/ Vancouver Island/ Victoria and more. He gave us good recommendations on where to focus our time. He was very nice, funny and accomodating. Butchart garden was the highlight of this tour but everything we saw in Victoria was worth it as well. Thank you Joe for the great day!

It is a very long day but you get to see and learn a lot. The tour guide provides water and snacks throughout the day.

It was a long day but defintely worth it. The garden was beautiful and the Inner Harbour was like a European seaside resort. Our guide Alan is very knowledgeable and took care of the minor details to ensure his guests has a safe and comfortable journey

Wonderful experience, Butchart Gardens a must see. Alan our tour guide exceeded expectations: interesting insights and history/ sense of humor/ knew his audience/ provided snacks & hydration. We got on an earlier ferry which provided more time in gardens and Victoria. As advertised be prepared for 12 hour day , well worth it.

Sooo much to see. The tour was heavy on the gardens and light on Victoria A lot of narration on the gardens not much on what to do in Victoria

Really fantastic trip, thoroughly enjoyed visiting Vancouver Island. Interesting ferry trip, absolutely stunning gardens with endless flowers at Butchart and a lovely time spent in Victoria. Guide and driver Joe Yang was brilliant, extremely knowledgeable and informative, excellent driver and a real care for his group, thank you to him for adding further to a brilliant day. Hugely recommend this trip from Vancouver.

Great tour with Joe! The tour was a good mix of nature with the butchard gardens and Victoria city views. We appreciated to have plenty of free time for the gardens and free time for downtown victoria where you can see the parliament. Good tour and nice tour guide, but too nice? I booked this tour since it was listed as an English speaking tour but it actually was a bilingual tour. The guide did this to be nice to part of the group. They repaid the curtesy by talking over him while he gave the English part of the tour. I didn’t hear half of what the guide was saying and developed a huge headache trying to hear him. If I had known it was bilingual I would not have booked. Sad because it had the opportunity to be a great tour.

On that day, because some guests came from different language backgrounds, including Chinese-speaking guests, the guide provided additional Chinese interpretation for some guests who did not understand English. Following an internal review, we confirm that English-language service was indeed provided throughout the entire tour. We sincerely apologize for the disappointment and inconvenience this has caused.We are also sorry to learn that the guide was interrupted by other passengers during the English portions of the commentary. This would understandably have made it difficult for you to follow along, and we regret that you were unable to hear much of what was being said as a result. We will continue to provide guidance and support to our guides to help them better manage group behavior and maintain control of the group environment, so that all guests can enjoy clear and uninterrupted commentary throughout the tour. We hope to have the opportunity to accompany you on another wonderful journey in the future.
Unfortunately, not very helpful in accommodating a challenging situation as my husband lost his cell phone and unwilling to re-schedule. My husband left cell phone on our late night arrival flight. Called early morning to indicate we wouldn't be able to take this tour. At that time, local tour provider agreed to reschedule (with a modest fee) to another date (even though we "cancelled" within 24 hr window.) Viator team helpful. When called to re-confirm with local tour (Jupiter) they now indicate no willingness to re-schedule and no refund. So we are out $312.20 US. Ahh well, at least we found the cell phone so not all is lost. Wish they would have been honest with us on day one and not reverse that decision on day two when we called back. Viator was apologetic - but could not do anything more.

We had a wonderful time with Ryan. We were fortunate enough to get him for two different tours. He goes over and beyond to give us the most of our day. Victoria did not disappoint. Everything about it was beautiful. We highly recommend this tour. ❤️

Well organized multi-stop day with clear instructions on process, timing, etcetera. Ryan is knowledgeable and funny while always safety aware. The gardens are beautiful. Stop in Victoria was interesting. Overall a great trip.

We loved this tour! This is a long day, but worth it. We left at 8:30am and returned around 9pm. We were promptly picked up from a downtown hotel and loaded into a Mercedes minivan. I loved that we were about 15 people max and not a huge bus. This made it easier to navigate and quicker to keep the tour going. Our guide Kim Jin was awesome! He had the right balance of sharing facts and giving us a break to sleep on the bus. Everything was timely. A cool experience riding the BC ferry. Like a mini cruise in fact with a dining hall, spacious, wifi, and a smooth ride. You can also charge your phone on the ferry. Saw whales and amazing views. Butchart Garden was lovely and we had a nice 2 hours to spend here at our leisure. Definitely get the gelato in the Italian Garden ($8)! From there about another 1.5 hours in Victoria. I wish I had a little more time in Victoria to join a whale watching tour or do afternoon tea at the Empress Hotel, but still a great time. Pack some snacks and dine on the BC Ferry to save time. That way you use your time in the gardens and Victoria seeing the sights. Our guide was kind enough to bring water bottles and protein bars for us too! The bus was comfortable and the overall tour was manageable for family members with back issues and walking with canes. Bring some cash as some places charge a transaction fee on credit card use. Also, cash for tipping. :)

The excursion is very long, lots of time riding in a bus. The Butchart Gardens were beautiful. The town of Victoria was very crowded and made it difficult to get something to eat in the time allowed. Our tour guide Andy was very knowledgeable and kept the group informed and on track.

Wonderful tour experience! Alan, our tour guide was super knowledgeable and prepared. He gave us information about what to expect for our day trip as well as information about the sites that we visited. Snacks and water are on board. Wear comfy shoes since there will be a good amount of walking. The 13 hour day was well worth it! Highly recommend!

This is a most lovely experience. We took a ferry from Vancouver to Vancouver Island. It was a beautiful 90 minute ride, passing verdant inlets and a charming lighthouse. Alan, our tour guide was outstanding. He provided the group with many interesting facts about Vancouver Island, the indigenous peoples, the Butchart Gardens and its history, and downtown Victoria and its Parliament Building and Empress Hotel. The Butchart Gardens were spectacular. We were very fortunate that the weather was absolutely beautiful. The gardens have a gorgeous giftshop with handcrafted items by local artists. The gardens also offer a coffee shop and restaurant. After the gardens we drove to downtown Victoria where Alan made suggestions for seafood restaurants and other eateries. It was a most memorable tour.
