We had an amazing experience! Our guide was the best! Mur was able to provide history and insight into anything we asked. He was also an expert with the monkeys which proved to be important! The fire dance was a must see cultural experience and the sunset was gorgeous!

We had an amazing experience with our driver and guide, Suta, for the Uluwatu Fire Show tour in Bali! He was punctual, had great communication, and made the entire experience smooth and stress free from start to finish. We arrived at Uluwatu early, so he took us to a coffee farm beforehand, which ended up being such a fun and unexpected stop.
He made sure we got great seats for the Kecak Fire Dance, helped keep the monkeys away, and the included seafood beach dinner afterward was delicious. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests having a great experience. Highly recommend booking with him during your time in Bali. Ask for Suta!

The Driver/Guide Wena was excellent helping us manage our time well. Also knew a lot of back roads to and from the temple so t he st we didn’t spend hours in traffic jams. Warned us about the monkeys in the temple and ensured our safety. Was even carrying treats for the monkeys in case one of them made off with our phones or glasses
The dinner however was very forgettable with poor service and very badly cooked food some of which was inedible .
Thankfully the attentiveness of the Wena, the temple visit and the dance show made up for the really quite bad food

Wayan made our Uluwatu Temple experience unforgettable! He was incredibly kind, a safe and smooth driver, and shared so much interesting history about the temple and Bali along the way. He also took amazing photos for us at the temple. He even held our backpacks the entire time so we didn't have to. The Kecak dance was so unique and beautiful, the temple views were stunning, and the monkeys were definitely cheeky 😂 but Wayan always made sure we stayed safe and knew what to watch out for. Highly recommend him if you want a fun, stress-free, and memorable Bali experience!

After reading the reviews, I was nervous about visiting the Temple since the monkeys are deemed aggressive. However, Wena, my guide ensured my safety which allowed me to take pictures and focus on the tour of the temple without disruption from the monkeys.
The stories are real about the aggressive monkeys. Keep jewelry, sunglasses, hats/caps, water bottles, and more importantly PHONES in your pocket, bags, or purses. Otherwise, the monkeys WILL take them. That's the downside of visiting the Temple ' the hundreds of monkeys throughout the grounds.
The Temple is located on a cliff overlooking the Indian Ocean....AMAZING view and worth the visit.
The Kecak Dance is overrated. I could have skipped it. My five star rating is primarily based on my guide Wena and the magnificent views.

It’s a good tour. The Kecak dance was better than expected with a funny element. Although it was a cloudy day, we did see partial sunset, and the seafood dinner at Jimaran Beach was really fresh. Agus, our driver was kind and informative. We had a good tour under his care.

Hold on to your glasses, hats and phones. The monkeys at Uluwatu Templenare very aggressive. Fun experience watching the sun set. We had great views of the temple. Our guide was very informative and kind! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

It was so great tour to enjoy Kecak dance performance one day.
Before the kecak, the drover took me to the small tea and coffee factory in the woods and this place was calm and nice atmosphere as well.
When it comes to Kecak dance, it was amazing!! About 50 mins performance though, I really enjoyed it very much.
The driver Ariana is so knowledgeable of traditional culture, history and so on. I highlly recomend you!!

We had a great experience with Netra, exploring Uluwatu temple, watching the Kecak dance at sunset and enjoying a beach dinner in Jimbaran.
Netra communicated clearly ahead of the tour, picked us up on time and drove us safely to each destination and back to our hotel. He was proactive in taking our photos, giving us beautiful memories to cherish. He also gave good information about the sights and kept us and our belongings safe from the cheeky monkeys. Netra even helped to save other tourists belongings when monkeys cheekily swiped them (people need to put their sunglasses away and not on their heads really to avoid this).
Once we visited the temple, Netra helped us to find a good seat in the auditorium. We had front row seats with a beautiful view of the sunset before it disappeared behind the clouds. He also gave us a great tip to avoid the crowds on the exit and this meant we got out of the area quickly and not as much traffic.
Overall, Netra really made this a fantastic experience. It was very enjoyable and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Was figuring out how to spend time in a beautiful country all alone and found Viator tour app had different activities available exploring an incredible Temple right here in Bali on short notice. I booked the Uluwatu Temple which is a sacred 16th-century Balinese Hindu sea temple perched on a 70-meter-high cliff in Pecatu, Bali, famed for its dramatic Indian Ocean views, sunset backdrop, and daily Kecak fire dance performances. Sounds incredible, right? It sure was with this amazingly fun tour driver named Darma who arrived promptly at the hotel and proceeded giving off an full list of exciting activities and locations we would be exploring throughout the afternoon. Darma was kind, thoughtful, charming and extremely knowledgeable about our activities. I would definitely hire him again and am recommending Darma, especially if you want an awesome good time on tour. Just make sure you’re hanging out with Darma. First stop was a place making their very own coffee and delectable teas. Lots of yummy flavors I hadn’t ever tried in America. Including coffee beans grounded up from the poop of a mongoose. Yes, you heard correctly. No,I didn’t buy that particular coffee . However, I did grab a couple of other delicious flavors to take back home. Then Darma and I were off to the sacred temple where Darma took the most incredible photos and videos of the beautiful temple making sure my photos were beautiful as he charmed the most adorable monkeys with peanuts and lots of attention. Must say I have some pretty extraordinary photos and I can’t wait to share ‘em with friends and family. Darma is an incredible photographer. I really enjoyed myself. He went out of his way making sure I had a good time. And if you want the very best tour driver make sure you hire Darma. ❤️❤️❤️Forgot to add the Kecak fire dance performances was outstanding and so was dinner at a seafood restaurant where food is served in front of a picturesque Indian Ocean. Thanks, Darma. So blessed spending the day with you.

Our tour guide was Jacky from ECO BALI TOURS. He was FANTASTIC. His communication with us ahead of time was spot on. And he took great care of us at the Temple, protecting us from the “cheeky monkeys.” He let us know what to expect, brought us extra water, and found us perfect seats for the show after touring the Temple with us. 15 out of 10 rating!!!

The show itself was OK and our Guide Wayan was very good. Wayan picked us up on time but accidents on the road had traffic build up ruining the event and the day for us. We managed to get there right on time for the show and so had no time to see the temple. The traffic was horrible so had to have dinner somewhere and the whole day was blah. No dinner at the beach but a restaurant somewhere, and not able to see the temple. Very dissapointing but it was not the fault of the guide. Rated it a 3Star because I can honestly and in good spirit rate it anything short of neutral based on what we had and did not have to experience.

Wonderful experience with our driver, Widi. Pick up and drop off at our hotel went seamlessly. He was very knowledgeable about the area and answered all of our questions along the way. The temple and dance show were incredible, HOWEVER, our experience was negatively impacted by our driver/tour guide, Naya. First, when Naya arrived to pick us up, he made it a point to mention that we lived far and he seemed annoyed by having to be our driver for that reason. On our way to the temple, he pulled over on the side of the road, and ran into the trees to pee - very unprofessional. Once we made it to the temple, he basically rushed us through the entire experience and didn’t really give us a tour at all. He kind of just followed us around and offered (pressured) to take pictures for us a couple of times. I only recall him telling us one thing about the temple, aside from “watch your things with the monkeys”.
The worst part was that he made a very inappropriate and insensitive comment during our “tour”. A place was flying overhead, and he pointed to it and said, “Look! It’s the US bombing Iran!” And then he proceeded to laugh. This made us very uncomfortable as 3 Americans, not only because we don’t support the war, but also because people losing their lives to war is not a laughing matter. The comment was disgusting and kind of ruined much of the experience.
Finally, after all of the rushing through the “tour” he didn’t even make sure we got to the dance in a timely manner to have even a decent seat. We barely got seats and got to them just as the show was starting. We had no time to read what the show was about or even prepare ourselves for it.
Overall, the dance and temple were incredible, and I would highly recommend, but be sure to request driver/tour guide other than Naya.

Gusti was very knowledgeable and helpful. He made it so easy and fun, and was also very patient with our children (7 & 11). It was such a great experience! The temple is beautiful. Watch out for the monkeys, they stole hats and glasses off people around us. I would recommend that you bring an umbrella or something for shade as you have an hour wait in the sun before the dance in order to get good seats.

First, we had an AMAZING driver and tour guide, Budi. Budi was patient, kind, informative, and very helpful. If you get Budi, you are LUCKY! the first stop was the Uluwata Temple. The temple is beautiful with many scenic places to take pictures. Upon entry, Budi informed us to put away items like cell phones, sunglasses, etc so that the monkeys won't steal them. Lo and behold, we watched many people have their phones and sunglasses stolen. We fed the monkeys and they were so adorable taking the food from our hand. Next was the Kecak dance. The virtual display of the their culture through story in dance and chant was so amazing to see. The arena was PACKED! Lastly, we went to have a bbq seafood dinner on the beach. It was a 10/10 experience!

Our tour guide, Wena, arrived on time, was very kind and considerate to the fact that we had already had a long day and didn't mind us napping on the car rode to Uluwatu temple. He was insightful ahead of entering the temple to ensure my glasses and hat were not taken away by the monkeys. He was very helpful in the temple. In sharing information, education on our smart the monkeys are telling us about the temples. He was helpful with guiding us on where to sit for the ceremony to get the best view. The dinner was really good; the lobster we got was a little pricy after we compared to other restaurants and the service was a little lack luster at first. We were given a table but not asked our drinks or given any guidance on the food coming or if we would get a menu. Again the food was really good, just little things for the restaurant. Restaurant staff in Bali is a little different as you have to make eye contact and ask for service as opposed to someone constantly coming by. Wena was wonderful, very kind, informative and helpful in answering our questions.

The tour of Uluwatu and the kecak dance were excellent. Our driver/ tour guide Putu was also excellent. Unfortunately, the dinner experience was very poor. Immediately upon arrival there was an up sell. Once the up sell was declined we were left at a table awaiting service for over 15 minutes while, customers who came afterwards were served. We contacted our guide and he got us served. The meal advertised as a feast was 3 small shrimp, 3 small clams, a few scraps of fried squid and 2 small pieces of fish. A vegetable, rice, water and a tasteless coconut were also served. The assorted seafood was basically a appetizer sample plate. The restaurant was Kampoeng Seafood. Do not book the dinner portion. Definitely a waste of time and money

This was a fun excursion! We got a great tour of the temple and had a great driver/tour guide, Silawayan, who made this experience even better.
