Outstanding private tour!
Victor Manuel was our guide for a college-style seminar on Mayan culture and native migrations, and the experience began the moment we got into the car. From the very start, he brought the history to life—engaging, thoughtful, and incredibly knowledgeable.
What truly set the day apart was how attuned he was to my two children. He struck that rare balance of making the material intellectually rich while keeping it accessible and interesting for them. It felt like a perfectly curated experience for both adults and kids.
The entire day was seamless. Eduardo, our driver, was superb—professional, safe, and courteous throughout.
All in all, it was a perfect day. I couldn’t have asked for more and would highly recommend this team to anyone looking for a meaningful and memorable experience.

Wonderful Tour and Guide!
Eduardo was a wonderful guide! He was friendly and well accommodating, and provided lots of time for us to enjoy the first cenote to ourselves. Clean vehicle and snacks included! He was very fun and even had great recommendations for the remainder of our trip. The first cenote we arrived right away and was private to enjoy without crowds. He even took photos for us while we enjoyed the swim. Sac Actun was the highlight of our vacation, and he had great information and made it so fun! Would highly recommend a private tour with Eduardo for any adventure!

Such a fun day! Julio was...
Such a fun day! Julio was the most fun, energetic, enthusiastic tour guide ever. There was a 7-year old boy in our big group who (with reason) was scared at different times being in the caves and snorkeling with the fishes, so Julio served as the boys’ personal floatie. By the end of the excursion, he had all the confidence to swim on his own, with a big smile on his face. Not all tour guides would be as patient and kind! The excursion did go longer than we had thought (around 5 hours) so by the time we were done, we were starving. We had heard of a great taco place nearby so Julio took us straight to it…and even got us a table! 5 stars all around.

Excellent Mayan Tour
Tonancy was our guide and Jose our driver. They promptly picked us up at our hotel and provided us with water. We went to other hotels to pick up other tourists and then proceeded to Tulum. Tonancy gave us historical information in the van. Everything was planned and thought out. Tulum is gorgeous by the sea. We had many photo opportunities and enjoyed the museum. Coba was deep in the jungle. You could take a pedicab or bike to make it to the temple faster. We had 15 minutes per group to walk up, take photos, and walk down. Next we went to the cenote. We could change before and after our swim. Then we had lunch at a local restaurant with a gift shop. Tonancy was so kind and enthusiastic about the Mayan history and she explained how it still lives on. It was a magical place and I’m thankful my group of friends was able to go. Highly recommend this tour with this guide. Taliesin Lenhart 2026

Fantastic!!! Authentic experience!
We absolutely loved this tour, it felt far less touristy than many others we did.
While Chichen Itza is awe-inspiring, Cobá was our favourite ruins site. Set deep in the jungle, it has a completely different atmosphere. On arrival, we hired bikes and cycled through the jungle to reach the main pyramid. The climb to the top is manageable, and the views over the jungle are incredible. Being able to climb the pyramid made the experience even more special.
We then cycled back, stopping at other ruins along the way where Joseline gave fantastic and informative talks.
Afterwards, we headed to Punta Laguna. The reserve is quite remote, passing through smaller Mayan villages which were lovely to see. Once there, a guide took us to spot a family of spider monkeys in the jungle. We then hiked to a zip line and flew across the lake, followed by a peaceful canoe ride back.
Next was a cenote well off the beaten path, surrounded by nature. It felt incredibly tranquil, we even shared the space with bats, terrapins, and catfish while swimming. It was a truly relaxing and unique experience.
We finished with lunch hosted by a Mayan family, who prepared fresh and delicious food. It was a special experience to be welcomed into their space.
Joseline was a fantastic guide, passionate, knowledgeable, and clearly enthusiastic about Mexican nature and Mayan culture. Manuel was an excellent driver, expertly navigating some very rough roads.
We would wholeheartedly recommend this tour.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wonderful and authentic cooking experience
I had a really lovely experience at Riviera’s Kitchen and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Tulum.
The class was small and intimate with only six people, which made it feel very relaxed and personal. The host was friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable, and she explained everything clearly so it was easy to follow along.
We made several delicious dishes together, starting with a really hearty soup made with corn, courgette and chicken broth. Then we prepared tacos with a pork filling and made a variety of fresh salsas, including avocado salsa and chilli salsa. We also made some cheesy empanada-style snacks which were really tasty.
It was such a fun experience cooking together as a group and learning about the ingredients and techniques used in Mexican cooking. I feel like I could actually try making some of the dishes again at home.
Overall it was a fantastic experience and I would give it five out of five. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for an authentic and enjoyable cooking class in Tulum.

Worth it for a small group tour!
Santi and Axel as our guides and driver, respectively.
The tour was pretty much kept on time exactly as a description. Santi was very motivated and through in his guided explanations of the ruins with free time for us to explore and take pictures thereafter. I love that it was a small group tour because when we got to the cenote, there is probably one or two other small tour groups and there’s plenty of space and time to hang out and get a cool dip in the water at the end of the day. Lunch in Vallelodid was in this cute little restaurant in a hotel where you get to pick from three or four dishes in advance on the car right there. I agree with the other tourists in that some of the time is spent a lot in the van from pick up and drop off but getting to the ruins but Sani kept it. We’re going with a historical facts in addition to his serenading with a guitar! The van is a little bit on the older side, but since there wasn’t many of us, it was pretty good. I can’t imagine doing the same tour with 40+ people on a larger bus. I definitely enjoyed the smaller group size so you get more attention and get your questions answered. Additionally, I would highly recommend bringing both sandals and shoes. You have to rinse off before you get in the cenote and you need to cross some pebbles or rocks before going down the stairs of the cenote. Definitely recommend this tour. Note that their office is based in Tulum-they also give us water, reusable water bottles, granola bars, and fresh bananas!

So fun!
It is very fun. If you expect to eat a lot, you won’t, but that is not the point of the tour… you will get to sample different and delicious tacos as well as get a history and explanation of the differences. We were with Armando and he was such a delight! Very knowledgeable and entertaining.

Outstanding Private Tour of Tulum Ruins & Jaguar National Park
We had a fantastic private tour of the Tulum ruins, Jaguar National Park, and the museum, made truly special by our guide, Rodrigo. From the start, it was clear how passionate and knowledgeable he is, and how important it was to him that we had a great experience.
Rodrigo did an excellent job explaining the history and significance of the ruins and museum artifacts in a way that was engaging and easy to follow. We never felt rushed and were given plenty of time to explore, take in the sights, and ask questions at our own pace.
He also shared helpful insights about the surrounding environment along the way, adding context without overwhelming the main focus of the tour. Throughout the day, Rodrigo was attentive, professional, and genuinely focused on ensuring our needs were met.
This tour exceeded our expectations and was a highlight of our trip. We highly recommend this experience—and especially Rodrigo—if you’re visiting Tulum and Jaguar National Park.

Jorge was an amazing guide
My husband and I were very pleased with this tour. It is indeed private so it was only us with our guide Jorge. He picked us up on time and was very attentive to our needs. He didn’t rush us at all and was very knowledgeable about Mexican history.
We promised to book this again when we return next year!

Miguel was an excellent guide who provided us with a brilliant day. He took us to the three different cenotes with enough time in each one. The first and last three cenotes were especially great as we were on our own. To top everything off, we had a lovely lunch at Valladolid. A great experience!

Acrion packed tour with great elements of Mayan Culture!
If you’re looking for a one day trip that checks off multiple items, this is the one! 2 hours in Tulum to explore the ruins, Nacho our guide was fantastic. Then a 20 minute ride into the jungle where you’ll get a Mayan lunch and then start the second part of the adventure. We rode ATVs for 45 minutes (bring a bandanna if you are concerned with dust), then zip lined a few small lines before watching a Mayan ceremony to release bad vibes and bring in the good. Then, you take your bags with you up the tall zip line tower (123 steps up!) to a 2 min long zip line that gets you to the last portion of the adventure. Then another 3 really fast zip lines, a rock rappel, and the best part, the guided swimming tour through a beautiful cenote. We were by ourselves for the ATV, zip line and cenote portions, and Jorge was an amazing guide. This really hit on everything we wanted, and all in one day. Looking forward to seeing the pictures they took in the jungle of our family.
