Begin with pickup from selected Phuket areas and travel to the sanctuary. On arrival, meet the local team and receive a short introduction to elephant behavior, safety guidelines, and the program overview. Take part in preparing organic food with the sanctuary team and learn how nutrition supports elephant care. Depending on the elephants’ routine on the day, you may observe the elephants receiving food from the trained team while maintaining a respectful distance. Before entering the lake, receive a kayak safety briefing with basic paddling instructions and water safety guidance. Safety equipment is provided. Then paddle gently across the lake with your guide. Enjoy fresh air, natural views, lotus flowers, monkey cups, mango trees, and local fishing scenery while observing the sanctuary environment from the water. River Float is a new tour that operates exclusively during Chiang Mai's summer season when the water is at its lowest level, usually April 11th- end of May, depending on rainfall. It's a great way to experience the river as we use inflatable kayaks. These kayaks can fit into fun channels of water and there's extended tranquil sections to enjoy the river and wildlife. The kayaks are set up with one guide in the back and one guest in the front. We have experienced, qualified local guides and international standard rafting equipment and safety protocols.
